I don't that is why I made a play on words with the meme: "I see what you did there."

Yeah, I didn't think anyone would really believe that.

So many deals today, what a flurry! I'll be interested to see what the pros think regarding the Lakers' opponents (POR, OKC, Utah, HOU, BOS, MEM, etc.) helping or hurting themselves. My head hurts from all this deadline rush. I would have liked Wallace or Battier on the Lakers.

i like wallace, but i think battier would have been a better fit for this particular lineup.

Somebody tell me about Jeff Green please. How will Green fit with Boston this year, and long term?

i would think green would be in line to take over kg's place after he retires. and perkins went from young vibrant center to aged/old over nite when he broke his knee last year. so this all in all improves teh celtics

celtics did lose a great backup pg in nate he was killer coming off the bench for them.

Feb. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Deron Williams said he is unwilling
to give any assurances about signing a long-term contract with
the New Jersey Nets , although he's excited to be the newest
member of the franchise.
Williams, a two-time All-Star point guard, was traded
yesterday from the Utah Jazz for rookie Derrick Favors , the No.
3 pick in the 2010 National Basketball Association draft; guard
Devin Harris; and first-round draft selections in 2011 and 2012.
Williams can opt out of his contract before the 2012-13
season, when the Nets are scheduled to move to a new arena in
the Brooklyn.
He said today that he was impressed New Jersey would give
up so much to acquire him and that there is a "strong
possibility" he'll be with the franchise in the long term. He
said he plans to see how the next season unfolds before making
any decisions.
"I'm just looking forward to the opportunity right now,"
Williams said today at his introductory news conference at the
Nets' training facility in East Rutherford, New Jersey. "

Doc, Danny, Garnett et al last June, "Y'all KNOW we would have won that 7th game if Perk had played. The Lakers never played our starting 5."

Jeff Green is a terrific player, can play 3 or 4, he'll take Marquis Daniel's spot, but I don't get it for Boston, unless Ainge has some buy-out deal up his sleeve (but who, at center?).

On the other hand OKC really improved their line-up, esp. in the West, and starting right now. OKC might have done the best of all teams. Boston, not so much imo.

Whose going to be their 3rd scorer though? Green was a great 3rd option and Perkins seems real uncertain about his health. I have a feeling Boston did the trade to screw with the Lakers and in hopes that the OKC can eliminate the Lakers w/ Perkins.
