After Bowie and Oden, having a serious injury history is a death knell for any 7-footer

Sixers know this pretty well after that Andrew Bynum trade. I don't see them making the same mistake twice.

I'm unclear on Exum, but I guess he's the next best...hmmm not sure how that works with a player such as MCW already manning the point.

Irving and Wiggins sounds like a potent combo in Cleveland, oh, and Bennett! I still can't get over how crazy a pick that was.

kenny smith dear god. please fire him

the one thing i appreciate about jalen is that he tells all the extracurricular stuff outside of basketball. his takes on the various cities and their arenas, the culture, the hotel life, etc

I love Shaq - he's the Clarence Thomas of analysts.

I don't think there's anyone in America who finds his schtick of running back and forth freezing plays amusing and/or illuminating in any way. Shaq is well......Shaq. The thing is, he's not even the most grating ex-Laker on the current analyst payroll. That honour goes to Rick Fox IMO

I'd rather listen to Carlesimo than any of these numbskulls

i hope whoever cleveland selects plays to a high level right from the gate. i like bennett, i want to see a fire light underneath his ass. im not dismissing him entirely yet but no excuse why a professional athlete can't get into game shape (injury or not)

The best thing about the first Heat championship was the fact that JW got a ring.

Interesting story, I've known John Lucas for many years and I remember going to many 12 Step Meetings in the mid 2000s when Griffin was there.

I remember Griffin being kind of aloof and sort of shy. He was an NBA player, but a troubled and inactive one by then. He would talk to those his age and younger but he didn't seem interested in older people and AA old timers.

When he had the accident and died a lot of people were sad.
