Only way they'd afford it is because Riley = fucking Satan, able to convince anyone of anything.

The article on ESPN says LBJ just made 30 mil off of friggin Beats by Dre, and I don't think Bosh really cares a ton how much he gets paid. Depends on how much Melo really wants to win (he would take by far the hugest pay cut) and also how much Wade is willing to give up. That's the biggest part to me. Never thought Wade was the kinda guy to give up that much.

That would be an awful fit, unless Melo was ok becoming basically a spot up shooter on offense (lmao) and dedicating himself to learning perimeter defense (rofl)

Can't LBJ just be the one to move? He could keep the public in suspense and hold a one hour televised event to reveal his destination? Maybe call it something like "The Choice". Or "The Decision".

Hasn't Wade pretty much already said he isn't taking a pay cut? Only person that said they would take less is Bosh. I don't remember Lebron saying anything about taking a pay cut so far.

I heard that Darko Milicic is available for cheap, so that the 2003 draft gang can all be together. nod[1].gif

biggrin.gif:D:D LAL hates Kaman too, right? Or was that just D'Antoni? I doubt anyone will pry Hinrich away from Chicago's cold dead hands though. He's a Bull for life, whether or not their fanbase hates him.

So cut Wade. Dude is playing well but he's been hurt a shitload and aint getting any younger. The sports fan in me does not want to see this but considering it would basically be the Olympic team lite I think Melo would fit in fine.

Anyway that's jsut clickbait, there is no way this is going down.

I don't care if all 4 of the allstars team up. if anything, the yankees, dodgers, and rich european soccer teams that create not just superteams, but superdupermotherfukcingduper teams still aren't guaranteed to win championships - sure they'll win one or two, and will be consistently contending, but it doesn't guarantee dynasties.

by in-organically creating a dynasty caliber team - they still aren't immune front he pitfalls of other dynasties in the past: injuries, chemistry issues, ownership/money problems, and most important of them all - running into buzz saws/teams of destinies like 2011 Mavericks/Alpha Dirk.

if the heat win this year, they are deservedly a dynasty (since they made 4 straight finals and won three in a row - which hasn't been done since the 11 championships in 13 year celtics old-heads).

but they did lose handily in 2011, and had to pull themselves off the mat during a 9 count against the spurs last year. Shits been a struggle despite stacking the cards in their own favor.

I was with you until here... Manu gave them that ring. Should read "had it handed back to them when at a 9 count against the spurs last year"

That championship will always have an asterisk in my mind.

cuz one person can literally hand the other team a ring right? everybody else's effort doesn't matter at all?
