ibaka looked a little slow today, but he was really efficient. so glad he's back. i can't wait for either 2012 or 2013 NBA finals all over again

I got drumk and didn't see the end of the game. Surprised that okc won, tbh. I thought they were as done as yesterday's steak dinner

Meh, after some more thought you might be right. Turns out there is a serious dearth of well rounded 2 guards ala Wade.
I still prefer guys that work on both ends of the floor though, and just can't call such a one dimensional player best.

Jeremy Lamb is pretty good imo. Not as good as Harden of course, but good enough in terms of value and what the team needs. He needed to see more minutes though.

They also needed to pick up a good young centre and they got one.

I quit watching with 2 mins in the 3rd. Game over.

Hibbert: 0 points, /series

Better luck next time IND. Perhaps Paul George can shoot a WIDDDDDDEEEE open 3 when instead, after pussy-footing for a couple of seconds, Mahimi gets an offensive foul for having wooden legs. Or maybe the team can take a risk and fire a pass to the rim when like 7 times tonight someone broke wide open for an easy one. I mean, like, MIA does this. Why? IND, no confidence.... a beaten team.

I might have given Stephenson a pass tonight for his goose egg (at this point in the game) for effort so far, but when you're going to twitter-shit Lebron, you better score at least 2 points.

Still, Paul George was the big disappointment here. I mean, we've all become clear that Hibbert is weak minded, but George has been a role player, if that.

Or maybe try not to make Rashard Lewis look like a damn defensive player of the year?

How on fucking earth can Hibbert go the whole game without scoring… again? It makes no goddamn sense.

Remember when they got Bynum, and they said he would be a good backup. laugh.gif

Healthy Bynum was so much better then this bum. Even despite the attitude.

Disagree. Bynum is a cancer.

The good news about last night: the Heat won.

The bad news: It turn out, I am not God. I watched the game and they won.

I think Spo has made some good adjustments this series -

Putting Cole on Stephenson
Breaking out a modified full court press that's been good for 6-10 easy points off TO's
Running this curl play for Ray Allen over and over in game 3 where he gets the ball with a head of steam at the top of the 3-pt line and let him shoot or dish
Getting Rashard Lewis to somehow play tough enough to slow down West
Changing the hard trap on pick and rolls to have the big man retreat and pack the paint to deter Stephenson and George from driving (the Pacers can't turn the corner anyway so the trap is less necessary)

If I were the Pacers, I'd consider a few adjustments for game 5:

Get Lance to shut the fuck up
Post him up on Cole
Get more scorers out there - Vogel has shortened his rotation to only the best defensive players but against the Heat you can hide bad defenders on Birdman or Haslem or Lewis
