I just watched KD's MVP acceptance speech. It was touching how humble he was and how he honored his mom… especially right before Mother's Day. I'm not for or against the Thunder, just was kinda nice.

Well that was unremarkable… so much for the sweep. lol8[1].gif

I had to go out during half time. 46-43 and looked like Nets were doing their thing. I come back to a 20 point Heat lead confused.gif

Highly unlikely.

Let's see… maybe I'll sit around to find out whether Portland can come back from 30 down. Or maybe I'll go mow the yard.

I had him in fantasy last season, he was a complete clown car. Exactly. Towards the end of the season he finally started playing a little ball. People remember his playoff performances, but he was dog shit almost the entire season. Plenty of 4 point 2 rebound nights. He looked good against Miami because Miami doesn't have any bigs.

The guy is just mentally very weak.

Coach needs to show some balls and bench the guy.

Anyway, the wizards look like the better team right now. Miami made Brooklyn look like shit. Clippers made OKC look like shit.

That was such a great first round, it looks like this one won't be as good without some big-time game two turnarounds. I see no way Brooklyn wins that series. They may get a game.

I think this Kerr thing is getting ridiculous and I hope he is not believing his own hype. He's like the most wanted guy to coach right now confused.gif I can see why the Knicks want him but Golden State (and the Jazz)?? And he would be a fool to take over the GS job. A team coming off a 50 game win season and a strong playoff showing, he is going to step into that and do what? Unless he thinks that Jackson held the team back but the players seemed to love him and could very easily tune out a new coach. He would be stupid not to take the Knicks. There is zero expectations for next year and if he does nothing different than what Woodson did, he'd still get a few more wins than Woodson and the following year you have like 75mln in salary available for free agents. If he is smug enough to think that as a guy who has never coached, he can take GS to the Finals, then be my guest and take the job, we'll take Ron Harper or whoever, its doesn't really matter.

The GSW job has to be about the worst situation any coach can get themselves into hands down. Stupid management decision. No coach with standing would put themselves in that situation.

I think George Karl can actually do a decent job for the Warriors. He can implement that run n' gun style that he was known for back with the Nuggets. That roster, with the exception of Bogut, seems built for that type of offense.

I know Karl gets a lot of love but I don't get it. He never did anything with the Sonics and only got to the conference finals once with Denver, and that was probably more Carmelo than him.

I don't think that's the direction management wants to go anyways.
I completely agree Kerr would be putting himself in a bad situation if he comes to GSW, learning under Phil Jackson in NY is what he want. It's almost like Erik Spoelstra and Pat Riley in Miami.
I'm just hoping Myers works some magic and get Thibs...

Isn't the inside scoop that Jackson did not get along with the management staff and team personnel writ large? I agree that that is a tough spot, as it'd be difficult to do better than 51 wins yet I don't see how that team pushes through the playoffs considering the depth of the West.
