Outside of curry everybody on the warriors is overrated. Bogut was probably their second best player but he's injured. Klaynk Thompson could also be second best on the team and is playing great defense but is prone to long stretches of terrible shooting after stretches of good shooting. David lee can't play defense. Harrison Barnes is still a non factor on both ends and iguodala is a non factor on offense.
They need a good rim protecting center and Bogut was kinda a dirty version of that and now they don't have him
I did just talk a lot of shit about them but I oscillate between thinking they're underrated and thinking they're overrated. Right now I'm in overrated mood
Jackson's a good coach tho but I don't understand why golden state front office didn't stand up for him when the stink with his assistants happened. Potential foreshadowing of jackson getting fired even if he doesn't deserve it
It'd be great to finally see a hometown team make it all the way but IMO they need a better cast
the only coach really who deserves to go is Brooks. Vogel will probably be gone if the Pacers complete their implosion, but he's a good coach. as the team leader he does deserve some blame for the sudden collapse of team chemistry, but if he's fired he needs to get another job on the strength of his game strategy and player development resume alone.
speaking of Pacers chemistry i'm really on the fence about Lance Stephenson. undeniably talented, is starting to make more good plays than bad (although the bad are still truly terrible and really take the whole team off their game), but really is starting to appear like he's a total asshole of a person. he earned my respect through the playoff battles by the way he stood up to Wade and Lebron even as a rookie, but now it seems like just gets under the skin of everyone, not just his opponents.
it will be interesting, because if the Pacers let him go as a FA that would be them saying, look this guy's talented but he's a total shithead so we'll make him someone else's problem.
No way Larry bird fires Vogel no matter what happens. They're tight and bird has really stood up for him in the past.
Apparently Stephenson and Evan turner got in a fist fight yesterday. He's great but i dunno what he does for team chemistry
He does make stupid decisions tho and often misses the one pass away type stuff. He's also prone to stealing rebounds from his teammates and going for highlight plays or gambling on defense but he's a great spark on offense
