Hmmm, who has won a championship playing classic small ball? Lakes, Spurs, Mavs, Heat ... i certainly wouldn't consider them small ball teams, though they're not classic 80s center-driven teams either (except for the shaq-kobe era)

that was actually Hill's miss, he needed to rotate over. there was no Hawk within 10 feet of him. If they are going to expect Hibbert to cover all that ground, they may as well give the series to ATL.

they should add a 4 pointer and a 5 pointer line and maybe a 10 pointer line around halfcourt. Then also allow the Harlem Globetrotters to join the league along with the refs they use.

well then i don't even know what you mean by a classic small ball team. the first 3 you could make an argument they're not a small ball team, but the heats i don't understand how you can not see them as small ball

two 6-8s and a 6-11 is small?
maybe we do need to define our terms: my idea of small ball is hurry-up offense leading to a spread floor with lots of improvisation/quick shots.

Who would have guessed that Bynum won't be the cause of disruption for the Pacers? lol8[1].gif

i mean if you're using 6' 8, 6' 9 guys as a center then yes thats small ball. lebron is undersized for a power forward as well

small ball to me is primarily height and size first. the improv and quick shots type small ball is typical of d'antoni six seconds or less team, but most small ball teams don't necessarily play like that.

I actually like the idea of a 4 point line. Maybe a line 15 feet each way from the top of the key 2 or so feet behind the current 3 point line. You'd have to be within the boundaries of the line for it to count. Or they can widen the court. I have often thought the court has been too narrow for years. 3 or 4 feet wider would help the game a lot.

Big Al is a beast. can hardly run, can hardly jump, still shows up with a monster double double

much as i hate to say it, this is probably the worst of the four years of Lebron/Wade/Bosh Heat teams. they are up 2-0 but really struggling to beat an uninspiring 7 seed whose best player is a quarter strength.

Damn, Dwight heard what Shaq said and making Lopez his bitch right now. All 13 pts from Dwight so far.

He is proving Shaq though, why can't he play like this every game?

Spacing blows, but this Asik - Howard frontcourt is fucking fearsome. How often do they run this lineup?
Very rarely. It used to be a terrible lineup for them and the primary reason why asik doesn't get more minutes which is the reason why he whines which is the reason why the rockets almost traded him
