okc is such a big matchup problem for spurs considering their defense this past month or two. that motion offense is going to run into a lot of trouble with long athletic defenders
post #14492 of 27250
my desire to see kd or the spurs win a championship > my desire to see a 3peat

if clippers go to finals i want cp3 to win. heats also have a big matchup problem against the clippers. they're the weakest at the center and pg position which is what clips are good at on both sides of the court

Speaking of the Spurs, I didn't watch the whole game yesterday but there was a point when the Mavs were in line for a Game 1 upset. Glad SA managed to edge out the win. They were spoiled last year when they went against the Lakers in the first round.

Btw, Noah apparently winning Defensive Player of the Year award

As if I needed another reason to have his babies

Speaking of babies and Joakim Noah, how the hell did that dude lose the genetic lottery?? He might be the ugliest child of two attractive parents that I can think of at short notice.

check out demi moore/bruce willis's daughters. Noah being a man, his bank account becomes more important than his looks. The poor Willis girls though...............

hated the pistons. don't want to let that thread die. will watch the 30-for-30 tonight (got it dvred). thomas was such a prick. one of the few players who would put up with him was magic johnson. but then when magic got aids, thomas was one of the first to push the league to ban him, and even publicly questioned his sexuality.

Hoo boy you are so right. They didn't do the kids any favors by saddling them with those silly names either

I remember when Dantley played his first game against Isaia (or was it Aguire?) after Isaia ran him out of town. Right at tip off he went up to him, got right in his face and started saying stuff in his ear which you could tell was just nasty. Isaia kept a grin on during the whole altercation. Jordan was another guy who absolutely hated Isaia, kept him off the Dream Team and would not allow any Isaia questions in interviews.

By way of contrast, I love the story about Kurt Rambis learning about it, walking out of practice without telling anyone where he was going, and flying straight to LA to be with Magic at the press conference.

You've been on styleforum too long, my friend.

He still might kill and eat puppies on his time off but we'll never really know how he is privately. Everyone talks about his thugish basketball play, but he was a better stretch 4 than all the guys currently in the league.

That kinda makes sense, the guy seemed like a great teammate, but otherwise. There are better stretch 4's in the league right now, Kevin Love and Dirk for sure.

I need to watch the next game, didn't see G1. Vogel should have shaken things up a month or 2 ago.

Because the east doesn't have any contenders, I'd have to agree on Miami. Charlotte gave them a decent game for 3 quarters last night. I've never seen a worse #1 seed. This said, watch Indiana take Miami to 7.

Out west, I think its OKC. My sleeper is Portland.

I loved how Dantley called him out in the documentary, no hedges, nothing. Isiah was a pretty nasty guy, it was denied, but I wouldn't be surprised if he sent a proxy and its plausible deniability. I'm very surprised he had any form of a career outside of his playing days.
