That product might be more entertaining than whatever the Lakers actually have on the floor

lol... and they won last night. they really don't need to win at this point!

Lakers don't need to win but I am glad they actually are trying.

Brooks and Bazemore fits well in D'Antonis system, just athletic dude who runs non-stop. Bazemore could actually play defense too and sink some 3.

Even though the Lakers and Boston are both in the ruts, the game last night was still fun to watch.

.
Jimmy Buss's little heart must thrill at how quickly and easily we have all come around to that mindset.

^ ya well .. it really doesn't help to win any more games at this point and Kobe should just rest up til next year. But who will they keep? Hill, Young, Farmar? Blake is already gone, who's next?

They tried to trade Hill with no takers. Young & Farmar only make $1.1mil and iirc they aren't even signed past this season, (Youngs is players option next year) they were one year contracts so all they could really so id either resign or not.

Lakers really only have Kobe and Nash guaranteed for next year, well I think Marshall and Sacre has a year left but those are less than $1m players.

^ ya only Kobe, Nash and Sacre. Young will probably opt out and try to get a better deal. I wasn't aware they tried to trade Hill.. I kinda like him.

Outside of Pau, he really is the only on who has some value considering his energy and hassle when on the court.

I'm surprised a contender didn't grab him. He's a cheap fix for a team's rebounding problems that can also score better than, I don't know, Chris Andersen?!

If the Heat fail to defend their title, it will be because of rebounding failures. Portland, Phoenix, Dallas all need rebounding too.

Clippers too, despite Griffin and Jordan, the team can be very, very bad in rebounding. Sometimes it is too easy to get an offense rebound against them and it is even worse when the back up is Hollins and Mullens. One of the biggest mistake Rivers made this year is signing Turkoglu and using him as a back-up PF fro Griffin and now they are trying to sign Big Baby Davis because they finally realized they aren't deep when it comes to their front court.

I laughed when Russell Westbrook pulled up from Siberia with 35 seconds left and the Thunder down 4. Yup, he's back. KD went for 42 and 10...you'd think you'd want him to take that shot instead of Westbrook in his second game back from injury...

Never thought I'd be so happy to see Derek Fisher on the floor

Think the Knicks set up Ray Felton?

that would require foresight and planning, have you seen them this year??

Dolan would probably pay Lin $50mln now if he could get a do over.

The good news for the Knicks is that now that we have bought out Ulrich and MWP, we get to bring in two stiffs that either no one else wanted or that haven't played all year. We could have Copeland on the team but Woodson, in his inifinite wisdom, demanded that the Knicks carry 4 point gards this year (plus Chris Smith earlier), even though he was going to play Felton huge minutes, come hell or highwater. Its not like the Knicks played their best basketball of the year when Ulrich started and Murray backed him up through the Texas trip. Its not like we can use a guy like Copeland off the bench, a big that can score from anywhere on the court. We have Melo and he will carry us.

It was his spiteful wife who turned him in. I'm no gun person but NYC gun laws are atrocious.

After the game, though, Smith denied doing it and told reporters that he did not pull on Carter's headband.

"No, your eyes were playing tricks on you," he said. "You're reaching for that one. I [already] got fined once for that shit."
