someone compared it to playing tennis with someone who is way better than you. they know they can win and they exert just enough energy to do it. of course, sometimes that comes back to bite you on the butt.

It would be interesting to see what would have happened with this team if blake, farmar and henry hadn't gone down. i think they'd be a very entertaining, very gutty .500 team. add kobe and nash, and you'd probably have a very frustrating, very contentious .550 team.

i don't think i've seen the Heat blow another team out all season

ive got him in a couple of leagues. was losing in points thanks for durant, but now with durants injury and carmelos 37 im back on top

I don't understand why the Bobcats are letting him iso-fuck them without a double team but it sure is fun to watch.

daymn, i love that this in msg

This is incredible. I think Woodson will sit him for a few minutes to start the 4th and put him in long enough to break the record.

also lol at this

Toward the end of the third quarter in Madison Square Garden, Carmelo Anthony has zero assists

Griffin over Aldridge as an allstar????

Also melo wtf??????
That's not the worst situation by any means. No denying Blake's winning a popularity contest here, but at least he deserves to be an all star and Aldridge is going to get picked by the coaches anyway
post #13452 of 27239
Every year its the same conversation... the best players aren't going to get picked. Doesn't everyone know that by now?

I'm impressed that he had zero turnovers in this game and that this was against a top 10 defense.  He had Michael Kidd-Gilchrist all up in his grill on a lot of those shots, too.

I was just about to post that. It wasn't just a case of disastrous defense all night, he made some impressive contested shots. He did travel at least twice, especially on that breakaway. He has took steps on that dunk early in the vid.

He scored that many with 7 mins left in the 4th. That was probably the best shooting display since Jordan put 63 past Boston in the playoffs, coming off a 49 pointer in the previous game.

^that michael jordan game is treated with such reverence that it took my elderly dad to remind me that the bulls actually lost that game...

and that the bulls were easily swept 3-0 in the first round of the 1986 playoffs. Also take note that Jordan scored that in boston against arguably one of the top three best teams off all time. think about that damn front line: bird, mchale and parish (all at least 6'9" to 7feet). then getting checked by dennis johnson (a all nba defensive player in the HOF) and eventually the celtics would double using one of their bigs.

I was impressed by melo. he was in the zone. he doesn't really use a jordan/kobe like great vertical leap for fall away jumpers too.

my latest way to instigate anger and argument amongst my knick fan friends? I just mention Jeremy Lin. Because some knick fans are so quick to dismiss Lin and try to argue felton is better. Think about it... J-Lin would probably be putting up 15-18pts, 7assist, and creating space for pick and roll alley oops to chandler/shumpert/hardaway JR/JRsmith.

basically a legit 2nd option and a great pairing for melo to get open jumpers too. felton has just caused knick fans ulcers.
