He can drive and do some dream shakes, doesn't panic and takes his time. He can also hit bank shots now and sometimes while spinning on a fade away. FT% is still shit but he is improving unlike Dwight. Saying Griffin is all about hops and dunks just show how much BBall you watch, even his highlights aren't all dunks and if you keep reading your lovely analysts then you will know that Griffins has improved and expanded his offense.
Deandre Jordan has also improved his offensive game, dude can post now. CP3 is 100% healthy, he was hobbled almost the whole season last year. Addition of Barnes and continued improvement of Bledsoe and great scoring from Crawford has really made the team very good all around. Odom is shaping up well too, he won't be the same 6th man of the year caliber but dude is starting to make baskets and running fast again, he is even finishing the game at PF lately. Turiaf has been good off the bench too. Hill and Billups aren't even back yet and that just adds more depth and veteran experience. I have watched every Clippers game this year and they are definitely much better.
Again last years Clippers team beat the Grizz in the playoffs with a hurt CP3 and this years team is much better and they already beat the Grizz very good team this year and have an 11 game winning streak and the team, a team that has sucked for so long and the haters still can't give them credit? You just sounds like sour grapes just because the Clips are from LA.
Conley is good but really can't even be compared to CP3. Gay, Randolph and Gasol are all good too, no doubt but the Grizz just doesn't have the same bench, there have been games where the second unit of Barnes, Bledsoe, Turiaf, Odom and Crawford has won the game for the Clips allowing the starters to rest in the 4th, that 2nd unit has expanded the lead int he 4th from 2 to 20 in at least 3 games.

Griffin has improved. I still prefer Randolph.

Jordan has improved. No question Gasol is a better center.

Connolly has improved, playing very well in fact. Paul is the better PG.

Tony Allen is a solid player, a wash vs Barnes/Butler.

Rudy Gay better than LAC options.

Clippers may have some better role players. I think the Grizz play better as a unit and come playoffs the minutes tighten down anyway.

Just look at LA, supposed to be a superstar team? Boston looks like poo, but supposedly improved. Its not just names. Both teams have some chemistry, I like the Grizzlies chemistry better.

Other than CP, the Grizz have a better starting 5. CP can be a difference maker. #1 I prefer to watch the Grizzlies play, #2, I stand by my $100 they'd take the series.

Eh, I'm not here to convince you to like the Clips better but you and Steve seems to be ignoring the facts that Clips beat them in the playoffs and this season and won 11 straight games and going for 12th tonight (*knock on wood*).

Just like star power means nothing, pointing out one is better than the other also means nothing.

People said Memphis will dominate last years playoff (I said it myself) after their tough match-up with OKC a year before but they still lost to the Clips, plain and simple, with a injured CP3 who could barely finish the game. This years team is far superior to last years. But hey, we all have our picks.

you just got trolled Steve doesn't actually watch basketball LOL!!

Besides CP3, the Clip I actually like watching the best is Eric Bledsoe.

i really do like this team. they're great to watch. they play with a lot of spirit, almost like a high school or college team. there's nothing jaded about them. griffin has really come a long ways; not sure he's zach randolph yet, but he's certainly got more weapons than last year ... and, of course, he's a human highlight reel. cp3 is like the big brother that keeps things running. and i like jordan, too. he's not a dwight or bynum, but the dude's got hops and he plays all-out all the time. caron butler's always been a good player. then lo, matt barnes, ronny turiaf and crawford coming off the bench ... they can go for miles and miles.

The way the Knicks are playing, Amare could really just ruin a good thing and trading before the deadline is probably the best thing they can but what do they need/lack in their line-up though? I have watched less than a handful of Knicks games this season so it's hard to say what they would need to get better but they seem to be well off with their current line-up barring major injuries to Melo.

Lakers. At least Short Bus has Kup minding the shop or this would be a done deal.

Actually, if they could get him for a bag of chips, I'd like to see it. Gasol could play center off the bench and he, Amare, and D12 could rotate through the front court, each getting about 30 min a game.

+1. Its the first place that came to mind. They're already over the luxury tax anyway. He'd be absolutely perfect.

Old, injured, and overpaid. Sounds like LA.

No one is better than CP3 . No argument there.

Don't you guys pile all over me when I point out the Spurs' regular season record? They won 19 of 21 going down the stretch last year and won ALL of their playoff game until losing 1 to the Clips and 4-2 in OKC. When the Clips can do that (or the Lakers for that matter), then talk smack.
And Jordan also can't shoot a free throw to save his life. And he's no Timmy (even at his age).

We aren't discussing the Spurs though, it was Memphis or Clippers so why bring up your team and say talk smack when the Clips accomplish the same thing? The Grizz hasn't accomplish the same thing either.

No one is even talking smack about the Spurs. lol8[1].gif

And iirc, the Clips didnt win a single game against the Spurs in the playoffs last year. They were swept.

RFX:
1. The Clips are playing well RIGHT now. No dispute.
2. The smack about the Spurs has been spoken repeatedly in this Forum when they were in the same position.
3. Playoffs are what matter.

Savvy?
