No choke.

Dallas was the better team.

The Heat, despite their infatuation with themselves, probably over achieved this year. I'm happy to see Dallas all those vets finally get their ring. The Heat will have plenty of chances in the years to come.

The Heat didn't have a bench and it hurt them the moment their three stars weren't producing. It's been the same story all year long.

I have played sports, at university level, and while I understand your point, one can't forget the attitude those guys developed since day 1. Was LeBron's/Wade's little cough-a-thon before game 5 respectful? Were the guarantees of multiple championships? Was all the ego demonstrated all year long indicative of how you comported yourself when playing, at whatever level? I doubt it. The Heat asked for it, laid it out, and paid for it. I think more professionalism on their part would have helped them, a lot.

Anyway, I'm much happier for Dallas winning than I am for Miami losing.

Keep in mind that Dallas' 2nd best player hasn't been on the floor since January 1st.

Butler and Chandler are unrestricted free agents "next season". Hopefully the new cap will allow them to get signed up. This team with a healthy Butler is even better, which is scary.

Why can't people just give Dallas credit?
Superior coaching, superior teamwork, superior will, superior understanding. They deserved it, and they won it.

Exactly. A hell of a player, too.

Beaubois has so much potential if he can get healthy too. I don't think a repeat is far fetched.

Cuban and Donnie Nelson were under a lot of scrutiny this winter/spring for not doing a sign and trade for Butler to bring in more help in the playoff run. They didn't. They wanted Butler for next year. I'd be very surprised if Caron Butler wears anything but a Mavs jersey given how Cuban and Nelson stood behind him.
