wtf does have to do with the heats definitely losing in miami? if anything it means they have a good shot because mavs have only been able to barely make it back in the 4th quarter 3 times in a row. every single game before game 5 were really really close and could've gone either way. i think they just created too much pressure for themselves with the 6, 7 ring prediction and huge press conference at the beginning of the season. they imploded under the pressure during the season and now that they've somehow made it here so far they've begun to implode under that pressure again
But the main reason I think it's over is because of Lebron. If dude can't get his head straight for the two biggest fourth quarters of his life then I dunno what else to do. This is like Boston last year all over again, it's just inexplicable. I guess that's why everybody said it was all about Delonte banging his mom, because no one could come up with a better explanation. This year, I guess he's....butthurt at Wade chewing him out in game 3? Who knows...
totally agree with this tho. the way he plays is just hard to look at. passes the ball out quickly without attacking the defense way too many times.
Anyway, I've calmed down a bit since last night. I'm more hopeful about going back to Miami, but still think Dallas will win next game just by playing exactly the way they've been. It's the Heat that have got to be a totally different team on Sunday. And judging from what I've seen all season, I'm not holding my breath. This is a team that locks down defensively and goes on runs, and then lapses, blows big leads, and relies on a few brilliant plays by their stars to pull it out at the end. And against Dallas, that just ain't gonna get it done.
i blame spoelstra somewhat, but his players has also been botching a lot of excellent plays. like the game 4 heats final possession when miller (or was it bibby) passed to wade way too far behind him causing to lose control when wade could've had so much space for a good look at the 3
