You're an idiot if you think anyone here is sensitive. Since you're a lil bitch I'll let you have the last word because you won't seem to stfu.

Lakers are the greatest! Happy now, bitch?
it's because your reasons make no sense. if you were really trying to make a point that the lakers are in trouble, you wouldn't say "they're gonna turn it on in the playoffs" sarcastically because that's exactly what they did last year and they won it all. say something intelligent like lakers need to improve PG defense, close out quarters better and wake up Pau Gasol, because if those things don't improve they won't make it out of the west. see the difference?

Dude, I said a couple of months prior to the break that the Lakers needed to make a trade because this current team isn't that good. You already mentioned some of the problems. The comment was made because I am convinced these guys are not going to win and there is no switch. I hope I am wrong, but last year they didn't have Bynum and now they do. They been struggling too much lately to not be concerned.

Really? Who do you think they should have traded? Who could they have gotten? Lakers always struggle, but always win. The road out of the west doesn't seem that tough all of a sudden. Chicago vs. LA should be epic. (Lesson from the Pacers series seems to be that you need to keep throwing enough physical defenders at Rose to slow him down, wonder if Lakers have those guys).

there's no trade that the lakers should have made, unless you're playing fantasy leage stats-ball. They've got a great team that is seriously underperforming. Or, you could argue that New Orleans has an average team that is seriously over-performing. actually, i think it's the latter. chris paul is a monster, and New Orleans is playing serious, team-oriented defensive basketball. Sure Gasol could have been more aggressive this series, but a lot of that is because NO has been packing the paint and daring the Lakers to shoot jump shots. In a game like last night's, where they can't, it's a brilliant strategy. and there is more than a bit of truth to the belief that the lakers may play sh*tty from time to time, but always seem to come through. OKC last year and anyone remember Houston? We'll see what happens from here. So far, I've only seen flashes of playoff form from the Lakes, not a serious full-game effort. If they can't get that, it could be a short postseason.

HS, you're sounding kinda stupid right about now. You tried to be Mr. Smartass Sarcasm and when you were called on it, went with the "I saw the Lakers on a double decker bus, once" as some sort of cred. Being concerned (which I have been for weeks) and talking shit like some text book troll Laker hater are two very different things.

Sorry, the big three Laker Homers on here are being thin skinned and sensitive. NOTHING he said could be defined as "hating" by any but the most entitled and self important fan.

I like the Lakers. I root for them, but come on.

Some of you guys did bring this upon yourselves by constantly claiming that the Lakers would, in fact, turn it on in the playoffs. Just sayin. That said, I don't think the Lakers are gonna lose this series. Despite Gasol shitting the bed and Chris Paul's (who btw needs a better nickname than the insipid CP3) merry band of role players playing out of their mind, the Lakers were still a few plays away from 4-0.

Kudos to Memphis but San Antonio really looked old and tired.

I think Kobe will prevent that from happening to the Lakers, as Nowitzki will take Dallas a little further.

But if some young and unexpected teams go deep in the playoffs, that is good for the NBA.

Definitely, and Randolph was pretty contained. Too bad they forgot the rest of the team.
