I assume that's serious despite the date. Tip of the hat, dude was a beast.

Ha, thanks RFX for the clarification.

Ed. note: Yes, in case you don't read all the way to the bottom, this is an April Fool's prank. Sorry for the early morning scare.

Duncan on the other hand says he is retiring....

god i hope brooklyn doesn't sneak in to the playoffs. they might be the most irrelevant team in the league, what a downfall from what could have been (awesome arena, crazy and rich russian owner, ridiculous market/location)

Remember when it was cool to like the Nets back in 2012? laugh.gif

I hope they do because ATL owns their 2015 1st-rounder.  The last thing the East needs is the Hawks getting even better .

Not that it matters or affects anyone but Lakers waived Steve Nash to sign Jabari Brown to a multi-year contract.

didn't nash retire? i thought lakers saved money on that.

i read that lawrence MD post and thought no way this is an actual article. must link to onion

apparently in the latest BS report brian windhorst claims that david blatt will call a play, but lebron will call a different play and then david blatt just relays that play to everybody else to make it seem like he's still kind of in charge

apparently the nick van exel 23 assist game was made up

that second half by the clips was awful. that bench is just the worst. even with crawford back, the best they can do is hold service. and it's a shame because the starters are tough. and, yeah, curry is a beast. i don't know that he "dismantled" cp3 (except on that one behind the back), but he gets his shot off quicker than anyone i can remember seeing. they're fun to watch ... and they really do play good team defense.

just dismantled him on that play smile.gif

how well does draymond usually play blake? cuz he was out and blake scored 40 and the clips still lost so.....

by no means is that necessarily a clipper problem, but probably just more evidence that the warriors are our overlords.

Not to be a stan but CP3 falling was due to him stepping on Curry's foot and not really due to the dribble, not as impressive as that dribble-to-3 he did back in their homecourt.

Blake scoring 40 and losing isn't really a big deal, biggest problem was that the bench scored 12 points the whole game. When the Clips won against them and Green was playing, yeah Blake only scored 18 (w/ 15 reb/6ast) but the bench had 28pts and 24 of that was from Crawford. The other 4 pts from the bench was probably from garbage time too. lol8[1].gif

I would love for the W's to play the Clippers in the playoffs again this year. Both teams and coaches seem to be chippy (especially Doc) and the games have been fun to watch. On top of that the Warriors have home court advantage in both venues (har har) plus let's be honest, as a Warriors fan I think if we can't beat the Clippers, we aren't as good as we think we are. Clippers have a couple of nice players, but right now they are at a severe disadvantage and would only be able to overcome it with some combination of superlative performance by their superstars, the bench playing out of their mind or substantial injuries to the Warriors core.

The teams that scare me in the West are Memphis, San Antonio and to a lesser extent Portland because they have LMA and shooters who are dangerous when hot.
