Yeah different injuries. i just remember the skin holding together a shattered leg like a bag full of garbage

pacers though... george was everything to that organization. less than 9 months ago they were like 14-1 and tweeting how they were going to roll over everyone. and Lance left... who is now playing sg/sf? stuckey and???? they need to swap hibbert for a pick and go into rebuild mode. this year is done. or perhaps hibbert becomes more focal point of offense and breaks out in scoring at 14ppg. whew

Injury is most similar to that Kevin Ware kid's during the NCAA finals

Ah shit, he plays for a EC rival but I really hate this. Especially while representing the country....I hope this doesn't discourage anyone else from going for the team

I've seen something worse live, but still damn frown.gif

Wow, such a shame on many levels. For George and his family, of course, he seems like such a driven, great competitor. For USA Basketball, has to make the other players' wonder. For the Pacers, a season where they should be competing for the top of the East will now more likely be that dreaded lower playoff spot (with a middling draft pick).

A Dickhead just posted that pic of PG's leg on my Facebook feed in full unspoilered glory. Fuck him

As if the East wasn't suffering already. Sad all around. Just all around sadness.

I hope they get a top seed free agent next year. I highly doubt they can make the playoffs without Paul George

^ The fact that they are defensive juggernauts and the East is a toss-up, they could end up 7-8 seeds I think. Obviously, he was their best defender and the rise of the Cavs, Bulls, Wizards, Raps, etc. could keep them from qualifying next year. But who knows? Just a sad situation for a promising young guy. I forget he was MVP calibre a third of the season last year and willed that Pacers team to a game 6 against MIA

Jesus, PG injury. A lot of ppl are complaining that the stanchion there was too close to the court.

I just hope he doesn't have any career repercussions from this, that he gets back after next year 100%.

It's true they (are/were) a defensive juggernaut but they have no offense without lance and Paul. Hibbert can't post up anymore and he can't shoot. David west can knock down open shots but he can't really create shots.

Bulls managed the 4th seed this season being dead last in PPG
post #17760 of 18040
It's true but bulls also had a more well distributed offensive talent. They had 6, 7 guys who were good for 10+ points a game whereas pacers were really carried by George, Stephenson, and West on offense

I feel like pacers offense will be much worse than bulls were last season
