ok mr. fancy pants lawyer (i didn't even graduate college). smile.gif
so, imagine sitting for the bar exam twice in one week.
unless they extend the exam to last 9 months, like the nba season (not a bad idea!) i think the analogy holds.

Actually, quite a few newly minted law school graduates do CT-NY or NY-NJ (one state's exam, followed by multistate, followed by other state's exam).

I dunno, I don't think MIA is losing this because they're doing something wrong, or they're physically or mentally fatigued. I mean they could be playing better, sure, but in my mind, the Spurs are just clearly the better team. I don't think this is a choke job or anything by the Heat, the Spurs are just better and they're proving it.

True, although I think it's easier to do them back-to-back (because the substantive and mental preparation carry over) than, say, a year apart. (I say that never having done it myself, and shuddering at the thought.)

But I do agree generally with foodguy's point. I I had to take the damn thing every year to keep my ticket, the mental part would get harder and harder . . .

Should I even bother watching the game sunday or am I better off doing GoT

OK, i'll write about something I know. Imagine having to write two blog posts in an hour -- and Facebook and Twitter them too! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

OKC wouldn't have steamrolled like this. Not a chance.

heats aren't hungry for a third championship? seriously?

They got too dependent on the notion that they could always count on Chalmers to carry them on his back when the going got rough. When he's not dominating, nobody else knows how to step up.

I don't see the same defensive intensity they showed in the last 2 runs. I can't see how they are less fatigued than last year as Wade missed a ton of games, he supposedly came into the playoffs healthy.

So Sterling is going to hire investigators to dig dirt on the other 29 owners. I applaud this decision and eagerly await the hilarity to ensue.

We have our very own Larry Flynt.

man, looks like I missed out on a lot. I couldn't see the game because i was traveling through South America. hey, good to see jet back in here! I haven't seen you since the Lakers went down. well, someone was on here claiming to be you saying that he was now a Clipper fan. and Nickels looks giddy...I'm happy for you man. earlier, about half your posts on SF were about your hatred for Lebron, so despite my disappointment as a Heat fan I'm glad for you.

anyway, as I said before, no shame losing to the Spurs. they are clearly the better team and the best team in the league this year, no question. I wish you could give finals MVP to a coach. did the people at AAA really boo the team all game? I guess I'd be upset if I paid good money to see my team play in the finals and they didn't want to be there....but for one, I'm appreciative of this team that gave its fans four straight Finals appearances and two titles. win or lose, it's way more fun to cheer for a relevant team. wish they would have showed these guys more appreciation especially as they head into free agency

The boos were in both G3 and G4 towards the end of the game. I don't recall any earlier. But ya, even I felt bad for the players. They were outplayed, didn't show the same intensity that existed in the last 2 runs, but they should be appreciated for the entirety of the run. Especially when you consider Bucks, T-wolves, Kings, etc, fans who never get close to experiencing 4 strait trips to the finals. Heat fans should be the last to boo unless they are sore that "not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5..." sorta ends at 2 and change.

^ Bosh and LeBron are still in their primes are you sure they gonna leave Miami? Can't see Wade leaving to play somewhere else.
