To be honest, other than Chandler and Fields, Lin is pretty much still playing with a garbage time lineup in NY. I mean, he's playing with guys like Bill Walker, Jared Jeffries, and Steve Novak, who let's face it, are scrubs.

Which I think makes it more impressive that he's winning games with these guys. But it also makes his stats less impressive because somebody has to produce on that time. He has the second highest usage rate in the league after Kobe. The ball is in his hands the whole time and he's playing huge minutes.
Novak is a knock down shooter though, I know since he used to be a Clipper. He could make those shots with the right set-up. Jeffries is a good hustle guy and defender, he is a lesser Ariza in that regard. Walker also has big potential, he was just ridden by injuries iirc but those 3 are solid starters/bench players, they're no garbage time players that are on the verge of being sent to the D-League. Not saying they're legit stars but they are different from player that seats deep behind everyone else and only appears when the team is down by 30 with 2 minutes left in the game and still manages to **** up every play.

What do the Knicks do with Baron Davis when he comes back? I've read one suggestion that they start Davis and bring Lin off the bench for energy, but I can't imagine they can bench Lin now. And doesn't Davis want to become an actor anyways?

There's a bigger chance Davis won't become healthy enough to play anyways than that happening. Plus come on, Lin is the Knicks right now, they can't bench him. I've read somewhere that the Knicks kept selling out his shirts and jerseys, Lin Jersey is also the #1 selling in NBA stores. The Knicks also hiked their ticket price by ~25% ever since Lin started so business-wise and if DAntoni wants to remain the coach, he better not bench Lin.

From last week...
Jeremy Lin Fun Facts

• Jeremy Lin's No. 17 jersey is the NBA's top online seller since February 4.

• Knicks merchandise sales are No.1 overall in the NBA since Lin's breakthrough game.

• Five of the NBA's 10 most popular items are Knicks-related since Linsanity began.

• Lin's Chinese Wikipedia-style page (Baike) has picked up 3.5 million hits.

• Microblog hashtag ‘Lin Shuhao Craze Continues' using Jeremy Lin's Chinese name, has generated 73,500 messages.

• Modell's Sporting Goods Inc. in Midtown Manhattan can't keep Lin gear on shelves; they went through multiple shipments of jerseys and T-shirts just this weekend.

• The Knicks have taken advantage of Linsanity, raising average ticket prices by 27 percent since Lin scored 25 points off the bench against New Jersey.

• Knicks upcoming road opponent Toronto has a huge price differential to see Lin play (cheap seat: $44,00) as opposed to an upcoming game with the Spurs (cheap seat: $12.50)

• Madison Square Garden stock has gone up 6.2 percent to $31.25 since the day before Lin started the Knicks on their five game winning streak.

Eh. they aren't stupid. They won't start BD unless JLin loses 5 of 10, at minimum. He's earned a long ******* leash. I mean they were a .400 team before this **** started.

I love how douchebag Floyd Mayweather said it's only b/c he's Asian that he's receiving this attention... if he were black nobody would notice. No dipshit... it's because NO ONE in NBA history has ever done what he just did in his first 5 (now 6) starts!!
