Novak is a knock down shooter though, I know since he used to be a Clipper. He could make those shots with the right set-up. Jeffries is a good hustle guy and defender, he is a lesser Ariza in that regard. Walker also has big potential, he was just ridden by injuries iirc but those 3 are solid starters/bench players, they're no garbage time players that are on the verge of being sent to the D-League. Not saying they're legit stars but they are different from player that seats deep behind everyone else and only appears when the team is down by 30 with 2 minutes left in the game and still manages to **** up every play.To be honest, other than Chandler and Fields, Lin is pretty much still playing with a garbage time lineup in NY. I mean, he's playing with guys like Bill Walker, Jared Jeffries, and Steve Novak, who let's face it, are scrubs.
Which I think makes it more impressive that he's winning games with these guys. But it also makes his stats less impressive because somebody has to produce on that time. He has the second highest usage rate in the league after Kobe. The ball is in his hands the whole time and he's playing huge minutes.
