Hardly any moves on trade deadline.

Looks like the new cap rules are stunting moves. Draft picks are worth a lot more than they have ever been.

Indiana detsroyed them yesterday. Indiana pretty much owns NY and Miami this year, they are too physical for both of those teams. This Indiana team is like the old school bruising Pacers of Miller, Smits, the Davis boys etc. while NY and Miami have been getting smaller. Not sure what the answer is but I am not crazy about Woodson's insistence on playing his 7-8 guys regardless of what is going on. They looked real slow yesterday. He had Copeland on the bench, who is instant offense and White, who is very athletic but those guys did not see any light. They are going to need Wallace if they face Indiana in the playoffs and I don't think he is coming back.

Except for Roy Hibbert who fouled out in 18 mins. Tyson Chandler owned him.

Woodson has a bad habit of, once a player loses his rotation spot, he never regains it. Ronnie Brewer is the type of player that you should keep on your team no matter how he is playing due to his defensive prowess. A guy like that is worth his weight in gold in the playoffs. Woodson buried him and now the Knicks gave him away to a title contender. Kris Humphries was being shopped by NJ and has exactly what the Knicks need, instead they sign Kenyon Martin confused.gif

OKC did great in getting Brewer for nothing, he is going to come in real handy out West. Houston, seems to have made a good move. Surprised nobody stepped up to pick up Josh Smith. He is a handful but the guys has some serious skills. Would be a better fit in LA for D'Antoni than Pau.

No one wanted Josh Smith because he becomes a free agent this summer and no one knows if he'll stay or leave, similar to Dwight. The difference is that JSmoove believes he is max contract player while most teams don't. So Atlanta is hoping that he doesn't get the max contract offer this summer and Josh Smith stays for what they offer him or match the other teams max contract offer IF it does happen.

I just don't think teams sees JSmoove as that one franchise player to build your team around on.

I understand that but the Lakers would just be renting him for the season, like Howard. If they are sticking with D'Antoni, Smith fits better in there than Pau and this season might be the best chance for a chip for LA for the next few years.

Makes no sense, right?

Duncan 20.2 11.2 2.2

Dirk 22.7 8.2 1.0

Virtually identical statistics.

Sorry, tie goes to championships.

Shut up, come back when your Spurs wins another championship. Until then, be quiet.

Is that what you wanted to hear from LA fans?

Don't worry, you'll be crying your eyes out again and be shut in silence once the Spurs are eliminated in the playoffs again this year.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I agree. I like this trade for OKC.

No, you just post stupid stuff when you actually post, it was much better when you are quiet and stay off the grid for days. You just mad your Spurs hasn't won shit in 5 years and Kobe got 2 more rings.

Threads been dead lately to be honest and just cuz no one puts aan update on the loss and you start goading people? Yeah a I bit, deal with it, go back in hiding and talk shit when your team wins something significant recently.

tony parker prop bets have been money lately (its usually over under on total points).

there was an interesting Carlos Boozer prop bet last night: total points + rebounds over/under 26. (i bet the under devil.gifmwink[1].gif since chicago fans seem to hate boozer)

caught the Bulls Heat game and again was reminded of how fucking annoying Boozer is. why the fuck does he scream and bellow after every play that he's peripherally involved in? did he get so little attention as a child that he needs so much now?
