CP3 is more like John Stockton - cerebral, below the rim game but can run a team like no other. even down to the feistiness

not really. I'm just rating players I saw play. Its so much easier these days with nba pass, but back in the day all I got to see was the local teams and the rare national game with some other team not the celtics/lakers/bulls/pistons (from the 80's to 90's).

I lived in southern california from 86-88 when I was a little kid and saw the prime lakers teams too (so i was really blessed to see such good basketball).

robert parish is one of the top 10 centers ever, although he looked stiff and awkward he was weirdly fast and coordinated and had a huge verticle leap, played all nba defense, and had the option to create his own offense

i think its safe to say that robert parish > dwight howard.

Shawn Kemp was a beast at one point in his life. I don't even think Blake can pull off some of these dunks (in the Slam Dunk Comp).

Lebron's closest old-school equivalent is Oscar Robertson. but the comparison is loose at best. Lebron and Rondo are probably the two players i can think of that are impossible to draw a historical precedent for

Robert Parish top 10 centers of all time? Seriously?

Per the Kemp comparison, I was just speaking about athleticism, I mean 6'10" and be able to move like that, they are pretty close to each other. As a whole package, Lebron is on a world of his own and the crazy thing is he is still getting better. I am just sure how he is mentally, he looks tough and determined but dude still has choking tendencies, he still isn't on that MJ/Kobe I will kill you to get to the basket and win mentality.

james worthy> blake griffin

i seriously think worthy would be doing the same posterizing dunks in todays game. but the other way around? blake would be put on his back and then start shying away from dunking so hard - save his energy and dunk more efficiently - and work on his defense.
