Haven't you seen the last four games? Didn't you see the pattern? Dallas just turns on their defense in the last five minutes, and Miami's vaunted rotating defense just collapses. Blown big 4Q leads in every single game. It's like they let the Heat go into their run at the start if the 4th, and then counterpunch. But the main reason I think it's over is because of Lebron. If dude can't get his head straight for the two biggest fourth quarters of his life then I dunno what else to do. This is like Boston last year all over again, it's just inexplicable. I guess that's why everybody said it was all about Delonte banging his mom, because no one could come up with a better explanation. This year, I guess he's....butthurt at Wade chewing him out in game 3? Who knows... Anyway, I've calmed down a bit since last night. I'm more hopeful about going back to Miami, but still think Dallas will win next game just by playing exactly the way they've been. It's the Heat that have got to be a totally different team on Sunday. And judging from what I've seen all season, I'm not holding my breath. This is a team that locks down defensively and goes on runs, and then lapses, blows big leads, and relies on a few brilliant plays by their stars to pull it out at the end. And against Dallas, that just ain't gonna get it done.

Maybe lebron was literal when he said "Imma bring my talents to south beach" he meant clubbing and partying.

maybe there is some banging. i think lebron's a little lost right now because he's used to being the #1 guy on the team and wade is clearly OWNING that role right now and lebron just doesn't know how to sit back and be a team facilitator even though he's trying. he's completely out of his element and should have stepped the fuck up the second wade went to the locker room. that and spoelstra is a mediocre coach. i think he may be the wade phillips of the NBA. take a mediocre coach, surround him with some pricy primadonnas, and sit back with the LULZ when they don't do the job themselves and he's stuck with the same stupid look on his face for an entire game because he can't figure out how to manage his damn team.

there was what looked like a "crucial play" late in the 4th where Dirk tried to hit a streaking Chandler and it slipped right through Chandler's hands.

Dirk got pissed at and scolded Chandler in the middle of the court.... but the best part was that Chandler just took it like a man nodded and kept playing hard - suffocating D and a steady presence at the 5.

You can't really teach that kind of good attitude.

wtf does have to do with the heats definitely losing in miami? if anything it means they have a good shot because mavs have only been able to barely make it back in the 4th quarter 3 times in a row. every single game before game 5 were really really close and could've gone either way. i think they just created too much pressure for themselves with the 6, 7 ring prediction and huge press conference at the beginning of the season. they imploded under the pressure during the season and now that they've somehow made it here so far they've begun to implode under that pressure again

totally agree with this tho. the way he plays is just hard to look at. passes the ball out quickly without attacking the defense way too many times.

i blame spoelstra somewhat, but his players has also been botching a lot of excellent plays. like the game 4 heats final possession when miller (or was it bibby) passed to wade way too far behind him causing to lose control when wade could've had so much space for a good look at the 3

This series has been too epic to end in 6. It has to end on a last second play in overtime. Dirk, signature fadeaway over Lebron and Wade's heads, to win by 1.

Did anyone see the profile on him before the game? He apparently grew up in the country, which would help explain his unassuming ways.

Interestingly, Tyson Chandler played high school basketball with Game (who eventually lost his college basketball scholarship for selling weed). IIRC, Game is wearing a Chandler jersey in one of his videos. Does anyone have footage of the aforementioned 15 second clip? I believe I was in the restroom when it occurred.

love how whatever jerkie who was announcing said dirk should have just been like "oh it was my bad" and that sometimes even if you know someone messed up you should take the blame... ...maybe if you're dealing with LeBronna...
