I've always liked Chandler. He's a great defender, solid rebounder, and goes hard all the time. As MfP wrote, he is the difference between this team and previous Mavs teams. As great as he is, Dirk isn't a great defender, but Chandler gives them the defense and toughness they'd been lacking. I once thought Dampier could provide that, but he decided to retire immediately after signing his Mavs contract and never played up to his potential.

IMO Chandler is the difference between today and yesterday for the Mavs. They have always needed a solid defensive presence in the middle. They tried the Mantis (our local nickname for Shawn Bradley) and Erick Dampier (who is now riding the pine for the Heat), but both were a joke. Chandler has brought a completely new defensive mindset to this team that has really been the difference. Dirk is this team's MVP, but Chandler is the reason they're in the Finals.

Wade infuriates me...blocking Chandler's dunk, taking rebounds from Dirk... what's that about?? Chandler and Dirk both have 8" on the mofo!! That's just not supposed to happen...

Gilbert Arenas tweets bad blind date. If Arenas has to resort to blind dates, he must have less game than the average SFer.

I'm really starting to get worried that the entire national media is questioning LBJ's manhood. Personally, I don't know why he's been out of it in this series and I don't care. I only hope he stays out of it. The one thing I don't want to happen is for him to come out pissed off and go for 50 or some shit...which he is certainly capable of doing.

That said, to do that he'll have to come out intense, but under control. I could see him coming out wildly and really screwing himself and his team up...missing shots, getting fouls, etc.

I think Dallas will win tonight...unless LBJ suddenly decides to channel his inner MJ.

That's a giant bag of sorry right there.

i think nowitzki or somebody should throw a big bag over jason terry's head and hold him at a secure undisclosed location as soon as every game ends. he's been pulling lebron's tail all series. i don't like lbj any better than the rest of you, but the guy is a player. he's not going to sleep through the entire series. tonight should be interesting.

NBA Power Rankings: The 36 Most Worthless Players in the League

Guess who #1 is...

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

1. Luke Walton

Luke Walton was at one point a decent NBA player.

Now that those days have come and gone quickly, the $12 million per the Lakers owe him over the next two seasons is laughable.

Bill's son is definitely a waste of money and one of the worst players to ever collect multiple rings, ever.

DeShawn Stevenson needs to go to the same undisclosed location. I can't friggin' believe how these guys are shooting their mouths off. Dirk needs to write out a card and tell them that it doesn't matter what the question is, here's the answer:

"Miami is a great team. It's going to take our maximum effort to win."

Q: Do you think LaBron will be a factor in tonight's game?
A: Miami is a great team. It's going to take our maximum effort to win.

Q: What do you think you've done well to keep LaBron under control?
A: Miami is a great team. It's going to take our maximum effort to win.

Q: What color jerseys will you guys be wearing tonight?
A: Miami is a great team. It's going to take our maximum effort to win.

Q: Is that something on your shirt there?
A: Miami is a great team. It's going to take our maximum effort to win.

At least when you go to Chicago, it's loud in there, it's crazy down in Dallas but it's not even loud in Miami. Listen, if the Miami Heat were playing the Washington Generals I would pick the Washington Generals. It's something about that team that annoys me. They just a whiny bunch and I can't root for them.

or DeSawn could say this:

I think the Miami Heat are OK!

I am so humbled to be playing in the finals with and against such immense talent. I'm so humbled that I become ashamed and have to cover my face sometimes.

Fucking Wade! Playing on one leg and knocking down contested jumpers off the backboard.

I hate that guy.

When is his contract up? Think he might sign with the Mavs?
