How often you posted in this thread? I'm mimicking Jet's Lakers Baby Lakers. Want me to run my posts by you first?

But Kobe would have made it, right?

See, this is like the 3rd and 4th time Kobe has been brought up by non-Laker fans. First you guys complain and whine that it is all about the Lakers that it might as well be a Laker thread then you guys bring the topic back up? I think deep down inside, all these Laker haters are jealous or envious because no matter what, you guys bring them up over and over again.

And that clunker was a miss, simple as that. He didn't choke. He got the shot he wanted and delivered it the way he usually does, sometimes the ball just doesn't fall and that's what happened. Dirk scored the last what? 12-14 points of that game for Dallas?

I mean seriously, sometimes it just doesn't seem like you watch the games and just the selected few highlights with your comments.

Anyone else really tired by this forced "Who is the Heat's closer!!!!111oneoeoneon" shit coming from the sport's media? Like they think the Heat sit down and decide who is going to run the ball at the end of games. I can almost guarantee the conversion runs something like "Whoever has the hot hand, or whoever is open." It's just such a fucking forced controversy. Other than Lebron taking a few forced shots in Game 2 when Wade was on fire, there's nothing there at all. Lebron was playing lights out against the Bulls and did most of the late game heroics, Wade is now doing that against the Mavs. Matchups, hot streaks, could be lots of shit, but there's basically NOTHING to indicate that there's the slightest tension between the two of them. If anything, sharing the load like that is one of the big reasons they got together in the first place.

I hate ESPN sometimes.

Dirk has been the best white guy in the league since Larry Bird and perhaps the best PF of all time in scoring ability. His defense is suspect though.

...and against such depth of competition! Actually, I'm not sure who else is even in the discussion. Nash? Kidd maybe edges in on the fringe (second thought, he's half black right?). Certainly not Gasol at this point.

that would be great, thanks.

I wish people wouldn't forget about this guy. Title or no, he's one of the greatest, if not the greatest, at his position.

Marc Jackson new Warriors head coach, with Mike Malone as the top assistant. Not sure how I feel about Jackson's hiring with no coaching experience but it looks like they're trying to surround him with the best help possible.

Would be better if it were Van Gundy. I find Jackson's analysis quite irritating. The Warriors will struggle with that patchwork line up for a little bit yet.

Too bad that they had to break up that crew. Those two made the best color tandem since I can remember. Van Gundy was born to call games.

Do or die for the Mavs tonight. If they don't win, the odds that they will come back and beat Miami 3 in a row (and twice in Miami) approach zero.

Sadly I won't be watching the first part of the game. My son's HS graduation starts at 7:30 and the game starts at 8:00. 1,000 graduates...yikes. I've already told him that after he walks I'm out of there. Not sitting through another few hundred kids I don't know.

LOL I'd suggest using a DVR but that never works for me. Somehow someone always ruins it for me.

I graduated with 1300 at Plano Senior High. I was close to the end of the alphabet too. My parents had the patience of a saint.
