I think you underestimate how much help Nash could be. Right now Kobe is practically playing PG and he is exerting too much energy handling the ball, he admits it himself that he has never handled the ball so much in his career. With Nash, Kobe can more or less focus on scoring than actually facilitating.
Sometimes it's just the defense though, last nights game against Utah was like a lay-up drill at times, everyone was definitely hoping Dwight swats all the shots within the paint and it translate to terrible defense. Offense, they could barely set-up much. Really don't know what to say that hasn't already been said, they are just stinking it up and DAntoni seems so content in just waiting how Nash changes the team so we pretty just have to wait as well.
On the other hand, the Clips can be crazy good, 2 games in a row they didn't need the starters in the 4th because the bench pretty much destroyed the competition and that is still with a chubby Odom and no Billups and Hill. Bledsoe, Crawford, Barnes, Odom and Turiaf are just a solid b-team for them and the hustle and quick defense is great when all fo them are clicking. If they stay consistent, they can take this all the way to the finals, they are that good and deep.
And speaking of being good, even I didn't think Griffin could evolve and improve so quick. This guy is leaps and bounds above Dwight today. Dude is doing sweeping hooks, dream shake under the basket and spinning fadeaways to the back court. His range is improving too and once he starts hitting those 15-17 foot jumpshots with consistency, dude is just going to beast further. He is still sloppy at times but that will improve over time since he is actually trying different moves, if he can get to at least 70-75% ft% or higher, he'd be all set.
