I think they are fairly evenly matched teams, with the slight edge going to OKC for their supporting cast and home court. It's all going to hinge on who goes into beastmode the most.

OKC haven't faced a gritty defensive team, I think OKC have the edge overall but ever so slightly, and only because of momentum .... Westbrook, remember, is not exactly gun shy... on some nights he's known to outshoot even KD, and his temperament and erratic play may be an issue... As for all this OKC dynasty talk... call me crazy but before the playoffs started I ranked the Grizzlies as the least favorable matchup for the Heat out of all the West contenders... Z Bo and Marc Gasol inside with elite perimeter defenders like Gay, Allen and Conley ... plus they get to the line a lot... I remember during the regular season, Heat played them and had no answers, nothing seemed to work ...

I agree with Chris Mullins' analysis that James Harden is the wildcard (LeBron vs. Durant, Wade vs. Westbrook, Bosh vs. Ibaka/Perkins is a wash), but Westbrook is also a wildcard. If he can't quit jacking up jump shots when he's stone cold, Miami steals a game and wins the series. Although I think OKC is a much deeper team and has home court advantage, I think MIami's experience (compared to Westbrook's immaturity in particular) will make the difference. I'm looking forward to the series!

yeah it was interesting cuz in the spurs series they went after westbrook psychologically making him fight through a shit ton of screens to get to tony parker on every possession which eventually made westbrook frustrated and made him jack up stupid shots and make stupid fouls

imo most people underestimate home court advantage. 18 of the past 24 nba champions (since 2-3-2 started) had home court advantage. 75% is a fantastic odd

i think ibaka could be a difference maker in this series. have heat faced a team yet in the playoffs with someone in the paint that is capable of blocking 5-10 shots on any given night? lebron and wade wont be able to just stroll into the lane like they have been. if okc can get the heat shooting jumpshots all night they're in with a great chance.
