Ugh, I can't stand it when people say "my team" or "we" when referring to teams they they follow.

People also forget bynum is a 23-24 year old who never went to college and his high school life was probably pretty pampered by coaches and friends telling him how great he was since he was saving his school's team and aau's team's ass. Then he didn't really play much early on and was always injured swapping from backup to part time starter. If anything i would've been surprised if he didn't act immature.

Probably nothing. The media always needs a story though. The lakers can't just lose a few close games and then go up against one of the greatest 3 point shooting performances in NBA history and lose to a good team. I'm sure the media will take nothing and get a bunch of ESPN Insider articles about it for the next week There is usually nothing that goes on in the locker room and if there is, it doesn't really affect the teams on the court. There's a big difference between not shaking an opponents hand or not talking to the media after the game and clothes lining an exposed player with 9:00 min left in a game where you're getting routed. You ever play high school or college sports (hell even really competitive intramural schools)? You'd be lying or weren't playing in very competitive leagues if you never saw that shit happen. I never did that kinda stuff but i definitely got a few elbows thrown at me on rebounds and in a flag football national qualification round had some guy knock me out of the air as i went up to catch a pass. It's not anyone making an excuse but just saying that it's not rare or even unexpected. I guess i've almost grown immune to it or expect it
