Dude, you keep making my point for me.....yeah, they're lightyears better...yeah, they're competitive in the division and the west...but their players and fans act like they're the goddamn 1 seed when they're not even the 1 seed in their division. They're getting there, but they are most certainly NOT there.

Prime example of a young up and coming team that is hard not to get behind: OKC. I can't hate on them. They're legit...and when they were up and coming, they didn't pull the crap that LAC pulls.

I WANT to like the Clippers, but they make it difficult. A little bit of humility from their best player could go a long way. (Oh, and the team can't help this but Ralph Lawler and the color guy are the most annoying homers I've ever heard. Not so much the Lakers' play by play guy, but i've always admired Stu Lantz for calling it like it is during games)

And you say my point is moot because others agree with you.....so what...OTHERS agree with me.

No one said your point was "moot". All I said is others disagree. The hell, stop putting words in my mouth.

And dude, bandwagon fans are everywhere. You can't put fault on the team for that.

And players thinking their number one seed? Have you seen their interviews? They congratulate them and CP3 and Blakes response is always "we still got a lot of work to do". How the hell do they show that they feel they are #1? Just because Blake gets a chest pound from Jordan when he dunks? That makes no sense. These guys are actually just trying to win while having fun. They look as humble as they can be, just because jackass bandwagon fans put them on a pedestal doesn't mean that's how they act. Look at these players twitter pics, they're just having fun w/o even bragging. These guys aren't even in Lebrons atmosphere when it comes to egos.

And analysts, most say they're a playoff team but does anyone actually have the Clips winning the chip? Nope. It's all OKC or Heat. Again, the hype isn't a big as you say it is. There is hype and everyone wants to see Giffin dunk but I haven't seen anyone outside of dumb bandwagoners that has said the chip locked in for them this year.

Fair enough...you see it from a fans perspective and I see it the other way around.

I tried, but I won't be rooting for those guys. And I'm not hating, I'm not salty....they're simply unlikeable (not to mention their owner is one of the worst human beings in the city).

Like I said, as a Laker fan, the biggest threat to our long term Western Conference supremacy is OKC, and I actually like them. Being a Laker fan has nothing to do with my opinion of the Clips.

even boston fans know and heartily admit that the biggest homer color guy ever is Tommy Heinsohn. He'll literally yell at the refs from the sideline calling out the referee's name when the ref is near enough to hear it...

the classic one was that woman ref, who's a terrible terrible ref, was called out... everyone was scared to death he was going to go sexist in his taunts on TV/sideline.

But he does have an awesome catch phrase "GIVE HIM A TOMMY POINT!" that he'll give to opposing teams players if they show extra-ordinary effort/savvy/smarts/hustle.

classic Tommy here:

Bull's are really pretty good. I like them over the Heat this year.

Blake showed some versatility tonight knocking down key jump shots. He was also smart/sneaky by pulling on Cousins on one of the last plays and it caused a turnover for the Kings. Can't be mad about that.

This SVG **** is nuts. And then Dwight goes out and lays a ******* egg. Man, that organization is so screwed.

I'm wondering if now we'll see an offseason trade of Bynum for Howard. Bynum's got an option coming up and, obviously, the howard situation is completely untenable.

Is SVG's contract up this season? I would just quit. That whole place is a mess.

You gotta love SVG for making it public. DH looked like a fool in that interview denying it.
