Why would the Clips trade the only healthy back-up PG they have and for a wingman nonetheless (a position they are already loaded on)?

I really think Boston needs to see who they could get for Pierce or KG but at this point, it seems like they just won't trade those two players for nostalgia or for "what they have done" for the team. Those two should still get the Celtics some very good talents.


I also think Memphis are making all the wrong moves. Not sure if Prince/Davis/Daye are equivalent to Gay.

Jordan can't be traded, they signed him to a big contract to make their franchise player happy, Griffin, because they are best friends.

Lee would be useless because they already got Green, Crawford and Billups on the SG spot, not to mention that Hill and Barnes can play that position too. Avery isn't a very good PG and will also get SG position. KG would work but it just isn't worth it if it means losing Jordan and making Blake unhappy.

Really, the Clips just needs a better coach.

Jordan isn't a bust, he was actually offered that big contract and Clips matched to keep him. Del Negro just chooses to sit him in the 4th, dude has huge potential. Dude can jump out of the building too, there's a point last year when he lead the league in blocks but again VDN just benches him, just one of his amazing coaching decisions. He is easily a 10/10 with 3-4 blocks per game with more PT, he is averaging about 24 right now. The league is pretty thin in legit centers these days and Jordan is looking very good with his potential and athleticism. He is no McGee in the brain department either, he isn't just trying to dunk the ball from the free throw line during a fast break.

And Bledsoe, I don't think dude is ready to start. Could he? Yes. WOuld he be effective? Nope. Dude still has a scorer mentality, he dries to the paint to much, jumps and gets stuck mid-air. His jumper isn't refined and his passing is still questionable. He is very fast and athletic but he just isn't ready to lead a team. It's good that he is learning from CP3 and Billups, it will serve him well in the future.

DJ is improving offensively though while D12 isn't. DJ has actually sank some jumpers this year and his post up move is getting better, they try to let him post up with the ball in the beginning of games because DVN takes him out quick. As for his free throw, he is still decent. I really do not get it because his form and shot is just straight and decent, it doesn't look awkward or messed up, it looks fundamentally sound unlike D12 or Shaq with their giant hands and having them flick the ball with their finger tips. DJ actually follows through. He has long ways to go and will likely never be Bynum or D12 (that franchise big you build around) but dude is a very good center energy-wise, with his length/ahtleticism (you can't teach tall) and defense while still improving on every aspect of his game.
