melo's played great this year... but this could result in a huge fine and suspension since it occurred right down the street from stern's office. what the fuck is melo planning to do? go baltimore/the wire and shoot garnett with a gun? arm wrestle garnet a la "over the top" to prove his manliness?

the knicks are awesome this year, but getting trolled like that could be detrimental because of the loose cannons they have on that team like JR smith (and his sister). Actually JR smith was awesome this game (he was actually being calm and calmed down the 35yo rookie from Argentina) and almost kept the knicks in the game in the end.

carmelo got trolled and ended up trying to heroball a win (6 of 26 shooting). you know you're the only one being trolled when JR Smith is the beacon of sanity/stability and leads the knicks that night with a consistent game in the loss.

its the fact that the last time carmelo did something "drastic" - it resulted in a 15 game suspension. getting trolled in the NBA is a very very expensive/weighty proposition. Especially if it means Stern and Company can essentially fix the Eastern Conference race to be more "competitive" with a long carmelo anthony suspension.

Garnett maybe a fake tough guy/asshole, but carmelo is fucking idiot being on camera standing by the Celtics' team bus:

Felton is already out and if he gets suspended, it will not be good for the team although I think they have a long home stretch. And when is Rasheed coming back??? I thought he had like a sprained ankle but he's been out for like a month.


The Celtics pushed the Knicks around, the Knicks are not a physical team, they are actually a pretty soft team outside of Chandler (hence the lack of rebounding). Not sure why Woodson did not give Melo a breather when he saw that Garnett got him so hot under the collar and not sure why he did not play Copeland and White last night, the Celtics are probably the only team the Knicks can run on and they needed to open the game up a bit yesterday when the Celtics started getting physical.
