As a funny aside, it was pretty quiet yesterday evening, but there were still a few crazy "simons" shoppers... Lol... I had a pair of Balmain denim in my hand on the hanger, holding it up, checking it out more for curiosity purposes and this crazy dude just comes up and starts feeling the material and checking the price while I'm holding it... Lol..

Ho well, I'm going back at noon for lunch, it's 3 min away from the office!

Went to Simons in carrefour laval (lol). Pretty much the same junya collection plus a few dress shirts that had sold out downtown. They had all 3 sizes of the black Mac coat (no other coats), all 3 sizes of both the green and grey blazer except no small in the grey (mannequin is wearing the M). They also carry Paul smith with all the smaller sizes gone, a huge D&G and Douche squared selection lol.. CDG H+, galliano, costume national, 2 CDG play stiped shirts but only L and XL. Picked up the junya gingham dress shirt (one of the buttons fell off and I spent 15 mins trying to get a discount but the manager was a frigid laval girl who would not budge - but at least they are repairing it). Also got a pair of CDG H+ trousers, and the junya gingham short sleve and the blue panneled dress shirt. Overall I shouldn't have gone there cause I dropped another 900$. Fck!!

thanks for the report! Damn, I could get tempted by the blazer in laval during the second round of markdowns. any gingham left? Siglo, we should teamp up during boxing day and split laval/downtown to cop all the jw we want

I went to the SSENSE store this afternoon (90 st-paul west, montreal).

I've seen some cool balmain stuff. A blazer, shirts, etc
Marc jacobs stuff (marc by marc available too on demand, mostly)
Givenchy (couple suits, blazers, shoes)
maison martin margiela (sneakers, maybe more, didn't notice)

i bought a marc by marc jacob suede jacket. very nice and on sale!
They told me that any stuff there is on ssense.com they can send it to the store for 48h so you can try it on, no obligation of course! :-)

the staff is very friendly too!

If anyone knows when the next round of Simons markdowns are, I'd love to know.

Copped the green blazer in M for 299.

Anyone notice the Simons 31 label camo lined blue blazer with brass buttons? Looks mad cheap even from a distance, pretty much a failed attempt at ripping off of a junya fw 2010 blazer. I have the OG, I'll post come comparison pics. The polyester camo lining is particularily hideous looking.

Michel brisson on Laurier has a decent sale. Couple sizes of the w+h green and khaki westpoint twill chinos for 80$. Resized and got a 32 khaki. Have a pair of 33 khaki if anyone wants em for close to nothing.

Staff is fuckin lol, nobody went to see me during the whole time I was there, pretty lol.

Went to Kapok across the street and fell in love with this store. LOTS of common projects which are way less expensive that what you can find in NA. easily -100$ on each models compared to ssense or reborn. They carry Kitsune, bleu de paname, porter and the owner is super friendly.

I strongly recommend this store.

Do you remember which models did they carry??

Hmmm, red desert boot, black derby shoes with wood sole, vintage pairs (two I think), an all white model, saddle model, one or two high tops and I can't remember what else.
