Spilled red wine on my carpet

Blotted the stain with paper towels, got most of the liquid up. Put salt on it. Can't do much until tomorrow. What's the best way to remove it? Or at least lighten it significantly.

Cat piss is good to get it up.

The odor is kind of distinctive, but you,ll have a clean carpet.

This stuff actually works very well. Having a dog with a tail that's coffee table level = lots of spilled wine.

If it's dry, you need to brush it and blot it with a cloth soaked in milk. Then soapy water and it should be gone. If it's not soak the whole stain with hot milk and let it sit for an hour before rincing.

+1. I have used this many times on spills on the carpet and furniture and even clothes. It's worked every time.
