Hello folks,
Up for sale is an absolutely gorgeous Eames era lounge chair and ottoman. This piece is an original piece of the mid-century modern style era, made in 1960 by Directional Furniture, a high-end furniture store based in North Carolina. The original tag is still attached at the bottom of the chair. Check out Directional's other stuff here: http://www.directionalinc.com/
The leather is fully broken-in and supple, and it is extremely comfortable. It can be a signature piece of any living room, and will mesh well in a room of any color palette.
I absolutely loathe having to sell this gem, but I am moving out of the country and I really have no other option. The chair also comes with a matching ottoman and a leather pillow.
Condition: The chair is in very good condition, despite it being over 50 years old!
Price: Today, original mid-century modern lounge chairs are going for very high prices. Since I am moving at the end of the month, I am pricing this to sell. My price is $450.
Location: I am located in Chelsea, NYC. Hence, this thread is only relevant to those in the NYC area.
Please pm if you have any questions. I hope I can sell this to a fellow SF'er who I know will appreciate it and take good care of it.
Some pics below. I can take more if necessary.
