Got the tracking number that they were shipped on 9/16 but it still says "We have received notice that the shipper is preparing shipment" or whatever. WTF is this about?

Seller printed his own shipping label online. Hasn't dropped off the package in a mailbox or USPS Office = has not actually been shipped yet.

Really, a thread about this? You either don't have anything to do at work or love the attention. I should just start calling you bigFoo1.

Why not contact either carrier or supplier? Saves troubling people here.

Was anyone really "troubled" by this thread?

I for one stand by him and his excitement/frustration at waiting for a new pair of shoes to arrive.

Sometimes there is a lag in the tracking. You might get the shoes before the web tracking is updated. Often the case for me.

Where is it coming from? Where is it going to? By which method is it being shipped?

They told me the package was taken to the post office last week. Every pair of shoes I ordered from the UK always either arrived next day or in a couple of days. Hence the paranoia.

Yes, when Browns used UPS. But these are coming directly from EG via Royal Mail.
