Was there any steering towards a particular area when you bought the new place? Agents are notorious for showing Italians a certain area, Jews a certain area etc. around those parts...

yes, the lack of those two groups.

kidding. it's on the water, it's small, it's out of the way, quaint, bohemian, the houses are incredible. We've thought about it for years but only the commute has detered me (1 hr vs. current 25 min train ride).
