I am one of two administrators on this forum, so I can say, authoritatively, that you *can* get banned for continually and unapologetically flouting the customs of the forum and being belligerent with other posters for pointing this out. There are very few set rules on the forum, by design. You are a guest of the forum. If there is one thing that irks me, it's a sense of entitlement.

Before you start a new thread, you should always think: Is this a thread topic that will spark genuinely interesting discussion? If so, post away. For example, you could have made this an interesting thread by asking the broader question of whether posters would buy denim from designer brands (something that would have been anathema a few years ago), or only from denim specialists, and then tacked your question on at the end.
