I left a pad thai out overnight, and ate it at dinner. It was probably out for like 18 hours, I threw out the shrimp and ate the rest. I was fine.

I generally don't see people leaving balls of mozzarella out on the counter.

I brought some sashimi home, ate half of it and left the other half out on the counter. Six hours later, I woke up hungry and mindlessly ate the rest.

Yes, you are. But the good news is that you can change your past by letting your cheese come to room temp so you can actually taste it.

Srsly, people eat good cheese right out of their refrig? Doesn't that make soft cheese hard to spread? Rob harder cheeses of some flavours that only come out at room temp?
