How to Brunoise an Apple? - Page 2

I wish they would tell you how big those bags really are. EDIT: I have been eating maybe 3 raw apples per hour since we got them, making no dent in the bounty. I swear they're breeding in there.

wait, what? when faced with a gunny sack full of apples, I can GUARANTEE you that the last thing that would come to my mind is "brunoise."

Maybe Manton's making some post-modern geometric apple pie in a brownie pan.

Wait, brunoise is where you make cubes, right?

Little tiny cubes. And I didn't do the whole bag, guys. But I need to use them up somehow so I am coming up with recipes that use apples.

personally, i cut apples in brunoise even when making sauce ... they just cook more perfectly even that way. but that's just how i roll.

Dessert-type recipes, or non-desserty? I think if you rolled your apple brunoise into a pork tenderloin that could be interesting.

Also, Please consider the Dali cubist square pie. Would be nice if you could do up cube-shaped streusel bits as well. With a concentric-circle latticework on top.
