God lord I honestly didn't know TF suits were this nice. The waist suppresion is fantastic! The pattern is outstanding. Tasteful as well.

Seriously, did you get this at a TF store. Please tell me you didn't get this on sale. Where can I get one and how much for that particular one.

If you are genuinely considering not keeping this and it is a 36 or 38 send me an email.

christ i should be working right now but can't get that suit of my mind

WTF? Relax. And no, it doesn't fit "bloody perfect" for BESPOKE!!!!!

I'm afraid that won't be possible (nothing to do with the suit). I'm on my 8th cup of coffee.

I noticed that one is a 3 button rolled into a 2 and the other is a 2 button and it seems that the peak lapels look different too. The 2 buttons lapels are a bit wider and it rounds out a bit more than the 3 button. I like the 2 button look a bit more. From ordering my suit thee other day I was told there are 3 Tom ford Suit styles: - Regency: Regency is cut in a rolled three button. Regency is slightly more fitted in the body. The armholes are cut slightly higher too. - Windsor: Two button and The Windsor is slightly fuller and has lower armholes... Just barely. - Buckingham: This is the cut only sold in England and is the one which tom ford wears as we always see him. I need more info on this one though. I ordered the Windsor because I wanted a 2 button. Sizing example given to my by Tom Ford Sales: Regency 50R Shoulder to shoulder 18 1/4" Blades 18" length 30 1/4" Windsor 50R Shoulder to shoulder 18 1/2" Blades 18 1/2" Length 30 1/4"

I like the 2nd one a lot (in terms of the fit), though minus the huge lapel

Here's one of my TF suits that has been altered and worn a handful of times so far. I threw these pics together quickly since I'm feeling extremely lazy -- hence the gym shorts in first shot and the bad lighting. Comments are welcome.

Looks very good for OTR. Did you have the jacket length shortened? Looks like the pockets are rather low in relation to the bottom edge of the jacket. Maybe it's just the angle that you took the photo at?

I sense a lot of members (bespoke advocates) are uncomfortable an OTR looks better than most of their bespokes. TF is as good as OTR gets and is >= a good lot of bespokes.

Looks great, but how do you alter the sleeves even though they come with working buttons(?) Do you have your tailor alter from the sleevehead?

There are no buttonholes - the tailor has to make them.

Hmmm...I seem to recall from my trip to the Tom Ford boutique in City Center (in Vegas) that most of the jackets come with sleeves already done (6 buttons, bottom-most hole cut open slightly wider), but I guess I'm mis-remembering...

Yes, I had this done at the TF boutique in NY.

This is the case for some TF suits, but not all. Most of mine came with functioning buttons and had to be shortened from the sleeve head.

Just out of curiosity and maybe it's just me, but the new suit's sleeves look a bid wide, while it fitted you better in the altered one. Did you take in the sleeves?

It looks as though the sleeve hasn't been finished yet (meant to have functional buttonholes installed) and isn't being tacked together either. The other suit is finished, so you won't get this effect.

I'm well aware that the first/newer suit has unfinished sleeves, but still found it wide at the upper arm. The reason I asked was because my newly purchased SC has similar upper arm/sleeves, which I'm considering have it taken in. And no, mine fits great, but not that great.
