Up for grabs is a set of vintage furniture that includes:

+ an armoire.
Location
+ This set is located in the Financial District in NYC, and is available for immediate pick-up. Because of the size of the pieces, you will need two people (minimum) and a vehicle that can accommodate them all. Man with a van might be your best bet.
Price
+ Listed on craigslist for $1250.
+ Will sell to SFers for $1110.
+ I am reluctant to sell any of the pieces individually, but feel free to make me an offer.

Description
This is a vintage set of reproduction furniture that has been refinished with great care and detail. The set is extremely sturdy and each piece is heavily made from solid cherry wood timber. This isn't your average cheaply-made composite wood crap (re. Ikea!). Each joint is dovetailed - representative of good quality furniture. The hardware is ornate brass with floral details and has been cleaned and polished to accurately represent its original condition of a worn gold color. The set is (I think...) is in the flowing and organic Rococo / French Regency style prevalent during the time of Louis XV, except it is toned down a bit because it doesn't have brass corner accents. Maybe it's more like Country French or Provincial something. Whatever, don't judge me.
The condition of the set is very good. Everything is in working order and nothing is broken. It doesn't smell, it's very clean and it can be used immediately for the storage of clothes (or whatever you want).

Dresser
+ This is long piece that has three drawers either side of a set of doors that open to reveal sliding drawers. I used these drawers to house my home theater system (DVD, cable box, and the left , right and center channel speakers). I drilled a hole in the back of the dresser so that wires and cords can be run to a TV that can be placed on the top of the dresser. Above these doors is a center drawer.
+ The dresser has been refinished in a high-gloss black. The original finish was completely removed, it was thoroughly sanded down, it was treated with two coats of primer and then two coats of finish.
+ Size of dresser: 75" wide x 34" high x 21" deep
+ Size of drawers (internal) : 21" wide x 15.5" deep x 6" high
Side tables
+ There are two side tables which each have three drawers stacked vertically.
+ The side tables were refinished to match the dresser.
+ Size of side tables: 22.5" wide x 17" deep x 27.5" high
+ Size of drawers (internal): 16.5" wide x 12" deep x 4.5" high
Armoire
+ The armoire is a tall piece that has six drawers stacked vertically.
+ The armoire is from the same set as the rest of the furniture pieces, but was refinished differently to give a bit more complexity and interest. The original finish of the armoire was removed, it was thoroughly sanded down and was treated to a couple of coats of stain in a walnut color. Because it is a vintage piece, the finish is not perfectly consistent which gives it a beautiful worn finish.
+ Size of armoire: 36" wide x 20" deep x 53" high
+ Size of top three drawers (internal): 30" wide x 15" deep x 4" high
+ Size of bottom three drawers (internal): 30" wide x 15" deep x 6" high
