After more than a month and my fourth message threatening neg feedback with no reply, I have filed a paypal dispute for this transaction. The only thing preventing me from posting neg fb is the retaliation possibility. Perhaps I will if things do not get sorted out to my satisfaction.

Although it's only $7, I feel like a tool because I alerted you all to this item and the seller sold dozens of these to SF members and I have been rewarded by getting the shaft. At least others have received theirs and I hope I'm the only in this situation.

Still, they ought to respond to your inquiries to let you know when it shipped.

Too bad yours didn't show up, EL72, as they're quite fetching and the seller seems to be genuine. I got mine in two days within England. I've had the situation that Alan C describes happen too, especially with the woefully incompetent Canada Post.

In regards to the handkerchiefs, they were probably New Old Stock from something like a Duty Free store. Aquascutum was also extensively licensed in the '80s through the '90s like the other British marques: Burberry and Daks.

The packaging reminds me of the Givenchy belts or Dunhill ties that were sold in Duty Free shops.

EL,

I too received mine quickly and as described. Sorry that you're having problem with the seller. However, thanks for the tip.

LK, you could very well be right. The packaging is very luggage friendly.

I recieved mine about a week after the purchase as well, and the packaging was good.

I was thinking, however, that didn't the color look a bit pale or faded? I was comparing it to a silk and a cotton square that I purchased in Singapore on myview2's recommendation. I liked the color of myview2's squares a lot more.

I got mine today, via a few weeks wait in the UK at my sisters place. I don't have many pocket squares but it seems nice.

Since it's a cotton hanky, I use it to blow my nose.

Just to update this info since the thread has been bumped. The seller finally emailed me back after the paypal dispute saying they only responded to messages through eBay, not direct emails and offered to send another one by express mail given the delay, which I did receive, so everything turned out fine despite the long wait.

Grabbed the last one.

I feel like a real member...I bought the "official" trousers from Ed an hour ago and now I have the "official" pocket square

I need to work on getting one of the ties.
