Seriously. If you could go back in time to when you were 20, and tell yourself only three brief pieces of advices (1 brief sentence each), what would they be?

No cheating - you can't tell yourself to buy apple or short bear or whatever else. K?

If I can't cheat -- meh.

Silly things, like go on a date with so-and-so or don't buy that shitpile of a first car or stop working at a bicycle shop and go get an internship somewhere, but ten years later I'm pretty stoked with how things turned out.

I don't think I would take anything back really.

Edit: I would obviously make some different decisions if I knew how it would all turn out, but it's like a manager in baseball. I would do something different knowing how it turned out, but the decisions were still sound ones, if they didn't all turn out great.

One piece of advice I'd give my 20-year-old self: bust your ass now, so that the rest of your life only gets easier from here. Having no life and doing nothing but work from 20 to 30 is totally worth having an awesome life from 30 to 100.

- Enjoy the one you're with, but when it's time to go, let it go.
- Learn more about cooking, good nutrition and overall health.
- Stash away $100 into your savings account each month, since you live at home and have no real bills.

You don't think the decisions (either right or wrong) have molded you into the person you are today?

Never let your bar bill on Friday night be more than what you earned that week.

What's cool and edgy at 20 is sad and pitiful at 45.

Don't get too attached to people as they always die on you.
