best winter parka

I am looking for an extremely warm BLACK winter parka that can take extreme temperatures like -30 degrees.

I know Canada Goose is good but too many people wear it which makes it kindaa boring.

I want a very stylish parka which is functional, NOT TOO BIG looking, ending at the waist with a cool fur lining...

all advice is greatly appreciated !!

I'd say.........Alpha? The parka that the Canadian Army wears.

Canada Goose and Woolrich is the warmest and the most stylish.

Canada Goose is one of these brands that I find inexplicably popular in Europe. If you want an alternative, Refrigiwear is not bad, but their parkas were really popular in Italy (of all places where parkas are not needed) a few years ago, so the fashion shelpf life may have expired. Spiewak is a classic name, and their products are durable and functional as well as stylish.

Alpha jackets are inexpensive, but... uh... lousy quality. I went through one in a week's time-----they should sell them on rolls; disposable, I mean... would make for a lousy sandwich I would guess. Dunderdon makes some quality parkas, yes.

Definitely Woolrich

I champion Spiewak myself, or any jacket meant for snowboarding.

I'll have to tell mike from alpha nevermind about the order then...I had a bad feeling about that company. Fuck parka's just buy a heavier coat. My friend is a rocker. always wears skinny jeans and boots and shit; but his parents sent him a north face jacket in the mail; since he didn't have a jacket in chicago...it actually looks pretty cool. Buy one a size down and take a magic marker to the logo.

I have a Spiewak which has proved to be very durable and warm.

It's black, and looks badass. I wore it once when it was freezing cold out with black jeans, black boots, and a black balaclava, and it looked fucking scary.

It looks kind of like this one, minus the fur, and it has a stand-up collar:

Any online retailers for spiewak? other than ........... I bought a fall jacket from them last year and I love it, slim fitting but you can still layer under it, very warm and durable but it still looks great. but I can't seem to find any spiewak stuff right now.. I guess their fall collection hasn't come out yet?
