Hotel recommendation in Lisbon?

I plan to visit Lisbon for a couple of days mid november.
Has anyone positive experiences with affordable hotels in the 150-250 Euro bracket?

I stayed at Pestana Palace a few years ago. Its only detraction was that it was not in the heart of the city (but it is within easy walking distance). Nice rooms, great service and food.

I stayed at the Internacional Design Hotel, which was nice.

A heads-up; I spent 1-2 weeks in Portugal and have NEVER been in a country with as few attractive people in my life. My soul was withering in the end.

I stayed at Inspira Santa Marta, which is close to Av. da Liberdade. I thought the hotel was situated in a great location and the service is excellent. Overall, rooms, spa and bar were very pleasant. They made my trip.
