Leave it to Americans to figure out how to deep fry a beverage. Still, I'm curious.

Probably carrageenan. I wonder what kind of beer it is.

That's exactly what I was thinking too in terms of freezing the beer, except for the batter part. That's a good thought.

Prefer the liquid foie croquettes my friend and I made.

We mixed the foie with gelatin over heat then spoon the liquid mixture into spherical ice trays and let them set in the freezer. Popped them out and covered them in batter and deep fried them. The outside crisps and seals in the foie while the heat melts it back into liquid. You could probably do this with lots of stuff.

Like a warm liquid surprise in your mouth, or as KW calls it, every Monday through Friday late night.

I've only had these at Au Pied du Cochon in Montreal. Amazing. I thought Martin Picard created these.

I heard they just make a beer batter and fry it but it would taste like the beer. Either way thats pretty horrendous! Out at the OC fair here they were serving deep fried butter. NO joke. Butter stick battered and flash fried... as yes people were lining up to eat them.

Every year at the Texas State Fair they introduce a new deep fried something. Last year it was deep fried butter. This year it's the deep fried beer.

God Bless America.
