I'm looking for a decent bar tool set. I dont like the one's that C&B or Pottery Barn offer - what are some good options?

Don't buy a set. Buy exactly what you need only.

+1. You can get by with a shaker and a jigger. You probably already have a reasonable substitute for everything else in the set. Spend the money on glassware instead.

I have glassware - fiance and I are getting engagement/bridal shower gifts from friends and family, and glass has been covered.

I like the set b/c I'll get a stand, which is convenient for my apt. Even if I were to purchase separately, who makes good stuff?

There's a website with plenty of bar tools and supplies. I can't vouch for the quality though. I will have to think or search for it to provide a link.
