This bag took the brunt of the impact when I was hit by a car on my bike and is still lasting.
Not super classy but hey - I'm a student

Nice stuff all around. Moo, if possible, please list WHAT your bag is (for the curious). Dlester's BV is very nice, too. I agree you really don't need more than one if it's BV. Of course, at their prices, who could afford more than one (haha j/k). BOTD is a Versace SS07 from the men's line. Though much of Versace's stuff is garish, over-logo'd crap, nevertheless their topline stuff is still very well made. The hardware, fabric, and leather used on this bag, for example, really impressed me and were far ahead of similar styles that season from Prada, Gucci, etc. Next to Hermes Clemence, it uses (IMHO) the best grained cowhide of any bag I've owned. And, no, I'm not wearing shoes yet (haha).

Good idea for a thread!

I am using this for errands and groceries. Picked it up at the Alameda Flea Market. Made by a guy using old mechanics and painters drop cloths and surplus canvas. Super light.

I usually alternate between this Bill Amberg "Jag laptop bag" and a Porter x Monocle Shorthauler on a day to day basis for work. The BA has lots of space, secure fastening for a laptop in the one of the compartments and I love the red lining.

For completing my PhD studies, I received this stunning SAB folio (YKK zippers not withstanding) last week from my wife.

Picture's a litte more neat than it has to be, but this has become my everyday joint. We only got a few in & I had to go immediately. I almost can't wait to see what this may look like in several years' time.

Veggie dyed Belgian leather with antique brass hardware. It's actually a bit lighter than in the pic I took. Ideally it's a laptop case (fits up to 15" Macbook), but I use mine daily for sundry items. The strap came out a bit short so we're going to swap it out for a longer, adjustable one. It's a bit pricey @ $375 but (and it's unusual for me to say this) it's worth if you're really going to put it to use.

We've only got one left now but I may be able to whip up a restock if anyone's intersted.

Filson 257 with 2 months wear. It still looks new, but it's starting to soften up a bit. Can't wait for it to really break in. I'm planning on patching this thing up for the rest of my life.
