As the title suggests, I figured given that the manbag thread is getting huge now, we could have a pic/BRIEF detail only for what bag we are carrying today. Snap a pic and give us details. This could be our definitive "post pics of your bags" thread, since we've had a few over the years that got buried/died. It would be nice if it could be pinned, but I'll leave that up to Mods. My usual to-work bag has been, sadly, the standard work-issue laptop case with the firm branding on it. I would like to carry my Helmut Lang briefcase here on the daily but it's a bit small and black case does not function with non-black shoes. Aspect of work game that will need attention somewhere down the line; I think I ideally need 3 work cases.

This thread isn't "what bag do I like" but the bag you are CARRYING today. Unless that person with the scarf bag is YOU, please don't post 20 MA+ bags; that's what the "Manbag" thread is for. Without organization, the thread will quickly become useless/pointless.

I hope so; I will try to post a pic of the bag by itself and one with me carrying it. Living alone and having an old camera, it's ReALLY tough to get a good pic of yourself carrying the bag. I just snapped myself in the mirror; so it's hard to get clear/well lighted. Can't decide on a bag yet for today... it's between a Costume National Briefcase or leather tote. Probably will go with the tote.

Rach, how big is that CN bag? My brother is looking for a somewhat modern yet still conservative briefcase, and that just might fit the bill. There is one on eBay, but it says the size is 18x 16 x 6, which is pretty darn big for a briefcase.

Yeah, that seller is WAY off in his measurements; I have no clue how he made them up. It's a standard A4 sized brief, about 17X12 or thereabouts, or the same size as most Document carriers/briefs, like the LV Porte-Documents Voyage GM, the Prada Saffiano larger size brief, etc. Anyway, I sent you a PM!

I thought so, too, which is why I switched.

rach, that CN briefcase is really neat. Sometimes I wish I had an excuse to carry a bag.

^Nice HL bag; I really liked his simpler, no nonsense briefcases, document cases, etc. Thanks for the pic!
