Balancing skin tone

My skin on my face is all differant shades. I have a red nose (going to the dermatologist about this) REALLY bad dark circles, red patches on my cheeks, forehead and chin and naturally pale skin.

As you can imagine it doesn't look good. Is there a way to tone down the colour so that I can look normal? I get alot more female attention in the summer months as a tan acts like makeup and covers up the differant shades, and I'd like that amount of action year round

I'm terrified of getting caught wearing it by my mates haha - any creams or face wash's etc would be best

Sounds like you have Rosacea. Google it.

Join a tanning salon.

you might very well have rosacea; you do need to start using SPF50 religiously, in any case, anyone does. You will notice your skin tone begin to even out over time if you apply sunscreen.

There are tinted sunscreens that you can use. Neutrogena makes a good one.

May instead he can use tan creams.

That's the price he has to pay to get with the ladies.

Hey Tom p., I would suggest that you avoid using a tanning salon. While you're concerned about your skin condition, to add tanning to the mix would only complicate matters even more. I work with Eucerin, and avoiding tanning salons will benefit you in the long run, by keeping your skin wrinkle free and looking young.

How about using a fake tan lotion? Would that have any negative effects for the skin?

Just get the highest concentration sunless tanning spray you can find at a drug store and apply at night before you sleep to your face, neck, and upper chest(for vnecks ect...). You will wake up with a glow. If you need more, rinse it off, and apply it again and dont shower for another 2 hrs. Sunless tanning only looks fake if you over do it. Two times in a row is pretty much going to be your limit. Effects last for a good 6-7 days. You should also exfoliate and shave before you start.

Start freaking out about it. Seek advice on the internet. Google various dermatological ailments. Convince yourself that you're not well. Lose sleep over it. Invest money you can't afford into a range of solutions that only affirm your free-form anxiety about your health.

A Vitamin C serum is supposed to eventually promote a more balanced skin tone, look into Anthony's or Kheils Vitamine C products .

Here is a post on Scform on this subject:

hey tom p.--i would avoid tanning salons. This would only make matters worse, as ultraviolet light can cause age spots, due to extra levels of melanin which serves to protect deep layers of skin. I work with Eucerin, and would suggest that you try to minimize over-exposure to ultraviolet light and use a daily moisturizer with SPF protection. Learn more here
