He already post it..the one with the black piping.

I have a sportcoat on order that looks opposite of what Thom Browne would design.

I don't think he means that one, but I could be wrong.

Well how would you fit him in the trunk?

This? If so, beautiful suit. I don't get why people called it all kinds of weird names: "barbershop", "stripey" etc.

Gotcha. Fascinating indeed.

An instant classic. Here's the link if anyone else missed it too:

there is a ten or so page brooks brothers black fleece advert in the mens vogue that came today. It looks like brooks may have put their foot down about TB's high waters. I think the clothes look nice. Like old brooks brothers, before they made zip up merino sweaters.

I liked that advert pretty well too. Don't understand why the male model has to look so goofily brooding though; Brooks is all about restrainedly revelling in your scads of old money, laughing while leaning on your golfclubs or chatting with Muffy on the porch. Half the time the spread drips of that familiar fashiony intensity, the other half looks like STeve COlbert doing his serious look (the fourth scowl from the left on the first page especially). I dig that double brested overcoat, but the chick looks best of all...

I'll have to go pick it up so I can see...I thought only one image was for Black Fleece and that was the one with the 4 guys and 1 girl lined up in grey suits.

This is true. Along with the photo in the back with the guy in the notch lapel dinner jacket.

Yah I saw it today in MV. I would have liked if they just had the line up ad and not the guy with the turtleneck or tux on.

It's a great ad (all 12 pages)....and the Black Fleece pages look great. Does the women's jacket really have the logo1818 on the chest?? that's kinda whacked.

The overcoat/turtleneck pic is really nice too. The advert makes it all look appealing
