Just snagged a Richard derby in espresso scotch grain.

Just came in here to report the Frans Boone sale. Still some good deals!

After being inspired by a posting by gr789 from last year I recently picked up these Allan boots from Yoox.

Black suede uppers with a Gumlite sole. I'm hoping they'll prove to be a good summer boot.

Is there any place to get Tricker's shoe trees for cheaper than the 52 GBP everyone is charging? I'd like to buy four or five but really don't wish to spend 200 GBP on shoe trees :-(

Picked these cordovan PTB Tricker's up from Frans Boone in the sale. Very impressed with the quality and the color. They're much redder than any #8 that I've ever seen. Borderline #4 in my opinion - the last picture has the best light.

Gorgeous and they will look even better once they have some character after a few months of use.

You might try asking some of the more popular Tricker's retailers if they offer a discount for 5 pairs. The worst they can say is no.

By and large, generally speaking shoe trees are shoe trees. Why not pick up some cheaper, more generic trees of good quality ?

To my mind, there is nothing particularly special about the Tricker's shoe trees. Very few people will see them in use, so why not save a few beer tokens and put them towards another pair of Tricker's footwear ?

Good catch!

I have had the Superboot i dark brown waxy suede on Gumlite for close to a year and they are amazingly comfortable, and look better now than they did when new.
